רַ֭גְלִי עָֽמְדָ֣ה בְמִישׁ֑וֹר בְּ֝מַקְהֵלִ֗ים אֲבָרֵ֥ךְ יְהוָֽה׃

לַֽאדֹנָ֣י אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ הָרַחֲמִ֖ים וְהַסְּלִח֑וֹת כִּ֥י מָרַ֖דְנוּ בּֽוֹ׃

וְעָשָׂ֣ה לַפָּ֔ר כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשָׂה֙ לְפַ֣ר הַֽחַטָּ֔את כֵּ֖ן יַעֲשֶׂה־ לּ֑וֹ וְכִפֶּ֧ר עֲלֵהֶ֛ם הַכֹּהֵ֖ן וְנִסְלַ֥ח לָהֶֽם׃

כְּח֤וּט הַשָּׁנִי֙ שִׂפְתֹתַ֔יִךְ וּמִדְבָּרֵ֖יךְ נָאוֶ֑ה כְּפֶ֤לַח הָֽרִמּוֹן֙ רַקָּתֵ֔ךְ מִבַּ֖עַד לְצַמָּתֵֽךְ׃

כִּֽי־ אֵינֶ֥נּוּ יֹדֵ֖עַ מַה־ שֶׁיִּֽהְיֶ֑ה כִּ֚י כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר יִֽהְיֶ֔ה מִ֖י יַגִּ֥יד לֽוֹ׃

בְּאֹֽרַח־ צְדָקָ֥ה אֲהַלֵּ֑ך בְּ֝ת֗וֹךְ נְתִיב֥וֹת מִשְׁפָּֽט׃

אַל־ תְּהִ֣י חָכָ֣ם בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ יְרָ֥א אֶת־ יְ֝הוָ֗ה וְס֣וּר מֵרָֽע׃

וּמִן־ הִֽתְחַבְּר֥וּת אֵלָ֖יו יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה מִרְמָ֑ה וְעָלָ֥ה וְעָצַ֖ם בִּמְעַט־ גּֽוֹי׃

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تُحَاجُّونَ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَتِ التَّوْرَاةُ وَالْإِنْجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

adabdho gopaa uta naH paraspaa agne dyumad uta revad didiihi

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about.

vadharyantiim bahubhyaH praiko abraviid Rtaa vadantash camasaaM+ apiMshata

And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

tilvilaayadhvam uSaso vibhaatiir yuuyam paata svastibhiH sadaa naH

μόλις τε παραλεγόμενοι αὐτὴν ἤλθομεν εἰς τόπον τινὰ καλούμενον Καλοὺς Λιμένας ᾧ ἐγγὺς ⸂ἦν πόλις⸃ ⸀Λασαία.

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.

But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

And when the men of Israel turned again, the men of Benjamin were amazed: for they saw that evil was come upon them.
