וַֽיְחִי־ עֵ֕בֶר אַרְבַּ֥ע וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת־ פָּֽלֶג׃

וְהָֽעֲמָלֵקִ֥י וְהַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י יוֹשֵׁ֣ב בָּעֵ֑מֶק מָחָ֗ר פְּנ֨וּ וּסְע֥וּ לָכֶ֛ם הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר דֶּ֥רֶךְ יַם־ סֽוּף׃

vaavRdhaanas taviSiir yasya puurviir dyaur na kSatram abhibhuuti puSyaat

It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

ὃ λέγω ὑμῖν ἐν τῇ σκοτίᾳ, εἴπατε ἐν τῷ φωτί· καὶ ὃ εἰς τὸ οὖς ἀκούετε, κηρύξατε ἐπὶ τῶν δωμάτων.

On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying,

Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.

sa dhaama puurvyam mame ya skambhena vi rodasii ajo na dyaam adhaarayan nabhantaam anyake same

Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

⸂ἐθαύμαζον οὖν⸃ οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι λέγοντες· Πῶς οὗτος γράμματα οἶδεν μὴ μεμαθηκώς;

Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.

And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.

yaj~naiH sammishlaaH pRSatiibhir RSTibhir yaama~n chubhraaso a~njiSu priyaa uta

And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.

And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
