וַיַּ֛עַשׂ קַרְסֵ֥י נְחֹ֖שֶׁת חֲמִשִּׁ֑ים לְחַבֵּ֥ר אֶת־ הָאֹ֖הֶל לִֽהְיֹ֥ת אֶחָֽד׃

ה֭וּא רֵאשִׁ֣ית דַּרְכֵי־ אֵ֑ל הָ֝עֹשׂוֹ יַגֵּ֥שׁ חַרְבּֽוֹ׃

הָב֤וּ לַֽיהוָה֙ מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת עַמִּ֔ים הָב֥וּ לַיהוָ֖ה כָּב֥וֹד וָעֹֽז׃

וַיִּֽהְי֞וּ כָּל־ יְמֵ֤י אָדָם֙ אֲשֶׁר־ חַ֔י תְּשַׁ֤ע מֵאוֹת֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַיָּמֹֽת׃

וְעֹבֵד֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ יִשָׁ֔י וְיִשַׁ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ דָּוִֽד׃

מגדיל מִגְדּ֖וֹל יְשׁוּע֣וֹת מַלְכּ֑וֹ וְעֹֽשֶׂה־ חֶ֧סֶד לִמְשִׁיח֛וֹ לְדָוִ֥ד וּלְזַרְע֖וֹ עַד־ עוֹלָֽם׃

שׁ֚וּבָה יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עַ֖ד יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ כִּ֥י כָשַׁ֖לְתָּ בַּעֲוֺנֶֽךָ׃

בְּאָזְנֵ֣י כְ֭סִיל אַל־ תְּדַבֵּ֑ר כִּֽי־ יָ֝ב֗וּז לְשֵׂ֣כֶל מִלֶּֽיךָ׃

הָב֣וּ לַ֭יהוָה מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת עַמִּ֑ים הָב֥וּ לַ֝יהוָ֗ה כָּב֥וֹד וָעֹֽז׃

قَالَ سَآوِي إِلَى جَبَلٍ يَعْصِمُنِي مِنَ الْمَاءِ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا مَنْ رَحِمَ وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا الْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُغْرَقِينَ

Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side.

γεννήματα ἐχιδνῶν, πῶς δύνασθε ἀγαθὰ λαλεῖν πονηροὶ ὄντες; ἐκ γὰρ τοῦ περισσεύματος τῆς καρδίας τὸ στόμα λαλεῖ.

And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

न मे विदुः सुरगणाः प्रभवं न महर्षयः । अहमादिर्हि देवानां महर्षीणां च सर्वशः

And the old man said, Peace be with thee; howsoever let all thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street.

The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?

All these had taken strange wives: and some of them had wives by whom they had children.

For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

τοῖς ἀνόμοις ὡς ἄνομος, μὴ ὢν ἄνομος ⸀θεοῦ ἀλλʼ ἔννομος ⸀Χριστοῦ, ἵνα ⸀κερδάνω ⸀τοὺς ἀνόμους·

وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَبِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ

But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.
