כִּֽי־ פָדָ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶֽת־ יַעֲקֹ֑ב וּגְאָל֕וֹ מִיַּ֖ד חָזָ֥ק מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃

בְּנֵי־ בַקְבּ֥וּק בְּנֵֽי־ חֲקוּפָ֖א בְּנֵ֥י חַרְחֽוּר׃

כֹּֽה־ אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֵלַ֔י עֲשֵׂ֣ה לְךָ֔ מוֹסֵר֖וֹת וּמֹט֑וֹת וּנְתַתָּ֖ם עַל־ צַוָּארֶֽךָ׃

וּבַל־ יֹאמַ֥ר שָׁכֵ֖ן חָלִ֑יתִי הָעָ֛ם הַיֹּשֵׁ֥ב בָּ֖הּ נְשֻׂ֥א עָוֺֽן׃

בְּנֵי־ בַקְבּ֥וּק בְּנֵי־ חֲקוּפָ֖א בְּנֵ֥י חַרְחֽוּר׃

כִּ֤י שָׁ֣חָה אֶל־ מָ֣וֶת בֵּיתָ֑הּ וְאֶל־ רְ֝פָאִ֗ים מַעְגְּלֹתֶֽיהָ׃

אוֹצָ֤ר ׀ נֶחְמָ֣ד וָ֭שֶׁמֶן בִּנְוֵ֣ה חָכָ֑ם וּכְסִ֖יל אָדָ֣ם יְבַלְּעֶֽנּוּ׃

עֹדֶ֣נּוּ בְ֭אִבּוֹ לֹ֣א יִקָּטֵ֑ף וְלִפְנֵ֖י כָל־ חָצִ֣יר יִיבָֽשׁ׃

ק֥וֹל יְהוָ֗ה עַל־ הַ֫מָּ֥יִם אֵֽל־ הַכָּב֥וֹד הִרְעִ֑ים יְ֝הוָ֗ה עַל־ מַ֥יִם רַבִּֽים׃

Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.

सर्वद्वाराणि संयम्य मनो हृदि निरुध्य च । मूर्ध्न्याधायात्मनः प्राणमास्थितो योगधारणाम्

The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.

vishvaa te anu joSyaa bhuud gauH suuriiMsh cid yadi dhiSaa veSi janaan

So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?

ya eka id dhavyash carSaNiinaam indraM taM giirbhir abhy a\rca aabhiH

For all his days are sorrows, and his travail grief; yea, his heart taketh not rest in the night. This is also vanity.
