אִם־ אֲ֭קַוֶּה שְׁא֣וֹל בֵּיתִ֑י בַּ֝חֹ֗שֶׁךְ רִפַּ֥דְתִּי יְצוּעָֽי׃

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר ל֖וֹט אֲלֵהֶ֑ם אַל־ נָ֖א אֲדֹנָֽי׃

וַיִּתְּנ֥וּ בְנֵי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לַלְוִיִּ֑ם אֶת־ הֶעָרִ֖ים וְאֶת־ מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽם׃

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ تَبْتَغِي مَرْضَاتَ أَزْوَاجِكَ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
