מִי־ ה֭וּא יָרִ֣יב עִמָּדִ֑י כִּֽי־ עַתָּ֖ה אַחֲרִ֣ישׁ וְאֶגְוָֽע׃

ה֘וֹדִ֤ינּוּ לְּךָ֨ ׀ אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֗ים ה֭וֹדִינוּ וְקָר֣וֹב שְׁמֶ֑ךָ סִ֝פְּר֗וּ נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃

וַיִּקְרָא֙ גַּם־ פַּרְעֹ֔ה לֽ͏ַחֲכָמִ֖ים וְלַֽמְכַשְּׁפִ֑ים וַיַּֽעֲשׂ֨וּ גַם־ הֵ֜ם חַרְטֻמֵּ֥י מִצְרַ֛יִם בְּלַהֲטֵיהֶ֖ם כֵּֽן׃

trivandhuro maghavaa vishvasaubhagaH shaM na aa vakSad dvipade catuSpade

And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance...

ἐὰν εἴπωμεν ὅτι οὐχ ἡμαρτήκαμεν, ψεύστην ποιοῦμεν αὐτὸν καὶ ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν ἡμῖν.

And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress?

Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
