כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת שִׂ֥ימוּ לְבַבְכֶ֖ם עַל־ דַּרְכֵיכֶֽם׃

וַנֹּ֥אמֶר אֵלָ֖יו כֵּנִ֣ים אֲנָ֑חְנוּ לֹ֥א הָיִ֖ינוּ מְרַגְּלִֽים׃

כִּ֥י מִי־ אֵ֖ל מִבַּלְעֲדֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וּמִ֥י צ֖וּר מִֽבַּלְעֲדֵ֥י אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃

וַיַּ֧עַן הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ אֶת־ הָעָ֖ם קָשָׁ֑ה וַֽיַּעֲזֹ֛ב אֶת־ עֲצַ֥ת הַזְּקֵנִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְעָצֻֽהוּ׃

גַּ֭ם מִתְרַפֶּ֣ה בִמְלַאכְתּ֑וֹ אָ֥ח ה֝֗וּא לְבַ֣עַל מַשְׁחִֽית׃

אֶשְׁרְקָ֥ה לָהֶ֛ם וַאֲקַבְּצֵ֖ם כִּ֣י פְדִיתִ֑ים וְרָב֖וּ כְּמ֥וֹ רָבֽוּ׃

וְעָשִׂ֙יתָ֙ עַל־ הַחֹ֔שֶׁן שְׁתֵּ֖י טַבְּע֣וֹת זָהָ֑ב וְנָתַתָּ֗ אֶת־ שְׁתֵּי֙ הַטַּבָּע֔וֹת עַל־ שְׁנֵ֖י קְצ֥וֹת הַחֹֽשֶׁן׃

אִם־ עַנֵּ֥ה תְעַנֶּ֖ה אֹת֑וֹ כִּ֣י אִם־ צָעֹ֤ק יִצְעַק֙ אֵלַ֔י שָׁמֹ֥עַ אֶשְׁמַ֖ע צַעֲקָתֽוֹ׃

וַיִּתְפָּקֵ֖ד הָעָ֑ם וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֵֽין־ שָׁם֙ אִ֔ישׁ מִיּוֹשְׁבֵ֖י יָבֵ֥שׁ גִּלְעָֽד׃

מוּסַ֣ר יְ֭הוָה בְּנִ֣י אַל־ תִּמְאָ֑ס וְאַל־ תָּ֝קֹ֗ץ בְּתוֹכַחְתּֽוֹ׃

So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.

Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;

Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنْبَاءُ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

And the king said unto Haman, The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee.

وَلِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ أَيْنَ مَا تَكُونُوا يَأْتِ بِكُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.

upa hvaye sudughaaM dhenum etaaM suhasto godhug uta dohad enaam

So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

νυνὶ δὲ ἀπόθεσθε καὶ ὑμεῖς τὰ πάντα, ὀργήν, θυμόν, κακίαν, βλασφημίαν, αἰσχρολογίαν ἐκ τοῦ στόματος ὑμῶν·
