כִּ֤י ר֣וּחַ עָֽבְרָה־ בּ֣וֹ וְאֵינֶ֑נּוּ וְלֹא־ יַכִּירֶ֖נּוּ ע֣וֹד מְקוֹמֽוֹ׃

וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הַיָּשָׁ֖ר בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ עָשָׂ֖ה דָּוִ֥יד אָבִֽיו׃

For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِلْكَافِرِينَ

هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ

ἐν τῇ ⸀ταπεινώσει ἡ κρίσις αὐτοῦ ἤρθη· ⸀τὴν γενεὰν αὐτοῦ τίς διηγήσεται; ὅτι αἴρεται ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἡ ζωὴ αὐτοῦ.

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.

χαίρω δὲ ἐπὶ τῇ παρουσίᾳ Στεφανᾶ καὶ Φορτουνάτου καὶ Ἀχαϊκοῦ, ὅτι τὸ ⸀ὑμέτερον ὑστέρημα οὗτοι ἀνεπλήρωσαν,

Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in:

And the priest’s heart was glad, and he took the ephod, and the teraphim, and the graven image, and went in the midst of the people.

هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ

Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

evendraagnibhyaam ahaavi havyaM shuuSya\M ghRtaM na puutam adribhiH

carkRtyaM dadathur draavayatsakham bhagaM na nRbhyo havyam mayobhuvam

ὅτι καθὼς περισσεύει τὰ παθήματα τοῦ Χριστοῦ εἰς ἡμᾶς, οὕτως διὰ τοῦ Χριστοῦ περισσεύει καὶ ἡ παράκλησις ἡμῶν.

And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.

Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا

Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.

And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

ἀπῆλθεν ὁ ἄνθρωπος καὶ ⸀ἀνήγγειλεν τοῖς Ἰουδαίοις ὅτι Ἰησοῦς ἐστιν ὁ ποιήσας αὐτὸν ὑγιῆ.
