אִם־ אַ֭יִן אַתָּ֥ה שְֽׁמַֽע־ לִ֑י הַ֝חֲרֵ֗שׁ וַאֲאַלֶּפְךָ֥ חָכְמָֽה׃

לַ֭יִשׁ אֹבֵ֣ד מִבְּלִי־ טָ֑רֶף וּבְנֵ֥י לָ֝בִ֗יא יִתְפָּרָֽדוּ׃

לַהֲדֹ֥ף אֶת־ כָּל־ אֹיְבֶ֖יךָ מִפָּנֶ֑יךָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃

וְכִ֨י מִ֤י אֲנִי֙ וּמִ֣י עַמִּ֔י כִּֽי־ נַעְצֹ֣ר כֹּ֔חַ לְהִתְנַדֵּ֖ב כָּזֹ֑את כִּֽי־ מִמְּךָ֣ הַכֹּ֔ל וּמִיָּדְךָ֖ נָתַ֥נּוּ לָֽךְ׃

כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־ בּ֥וֹ מ֖וּם לֹ֣א תַקְרִ֑יבוּ כִּי־ לֹ֥א לְרָצ֖וֹן יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶֽם׃

And in the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab began Ahaziah to reign over Judah.

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

πᾶς ὁ ἀρνούμενος τὸν υἱὸν οὐδὲ τὸν πατέρα ἔχει· ⸂ὁ ὁμολογῶν τὸν υἱὸν καὶ τὸν πατέρα ἔχει⸃.

And when they had left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.

So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.

And he had forty sons and thirty nephews, that rode on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years.

ὥστε ὁ ἀντιτασσόμενος τῇ ἐξουσίᾳ τῇ τοῦ θεοῦ διαταγῇ ἀνθέστηκεν, οἱ δὲ ἀνθεστηκότες ἑαυτοῖς κρίμα λήμψονται.

καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς· Μηδὲν αἴρετε εἰς τὴν ὁδόν, μήτε ⸀ῥάβδον μήτε πήραν μήτε ἄρτον μήτε ἀργύριον, μήτε ⸀ἀνὰ δύο χιτῶνας ἔχειν.

τὰ γὰρ ὀψώνια τῆς ἁμαρτίας θάνατος, τὸ δὲ χάρισμα τοῦ θεοῦ ζωὴ αἰώνιος ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ ἡμῶν.

And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
