בַּיּוֹם֙ הַשְּׁמִינִ֔י נָשִׂ֖יא לִבְנֵ֣י מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה גַּמְלִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־ פְּדָה־ צֽוּר׃

אַל־ יֵ֣שְׂטְ אֶל־ דְּרָכֶ֣יהָ לִבֶּ֑ךָ אַל־ תֵּ֝תַע בִּנְתִיבוֹתֶֽיהָ׃

וַיְהִ֕י כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר זָקֵ֖ן שְׁמוּאֵ֑ל וַיָּ֧שֶׂם אֶת־ בָּנָ֛יו שֹׁפְטִ֖ים לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

καὶ εἴ τις οὐχ εὑρέθη ἐν ⸂τῇ βίβλῳ⸃ τῆς ζωῆς γεγραμμένος, ἐβλήθη εἰς τὴν λίμνην τοῦ πυρός.

And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.

As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

And he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah:

And the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.

εἶπεν δὲ ⸂ὁ υἱὸς αὐτῷ⸃· Πάτερ, ἥμαρτον εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐνώπιόν σου, ⸀οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἄξιος κληθῆναι υἱός ⸀σου.

That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

Also Judah kept not the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made.

Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

⸀Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ αἰῶνος τούτου γαμοῦσιν καὶ ⸀γαμίσκονται,

There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
