וּמַאֲמַ֣ר אֶסְתֵּ֔ר קִיַּ֕ם דִּבְרֵ֥י הַפֻּרִ֖ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וְנִכְתָּ֖ב בַּסֵּֽפֶר׃

שְׁחוֹרָ֤ה אֲנִי֙ וְֽנָאוָ֔ה בְּנ֖וֹת יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם כְּאָהֳלֵ֣י קֵדָ֔ר כִּירִיע֖וֹת שְׁלֹמֹֽה׃

וַיִּמָּלֵ֖א שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים אַחֲרֵ֥י הַכּוֹת־ יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ הַיְאֹֽר׃

וַיָּ֛מָד אֶת־ רֹ֥חַב פֶּֽתַח־ הַשַּׁ֖עַר עֶ֣שֶׂר אַמּ֑וֹת אֹ֣רֶךְ הַשַּׁ֔עַר שְׁל֥וֹשׁ עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה אַמּֽוֹת׃

וַיַּעֲבֹ֣ר יְ֠הוֹשֻׁעַ וְכָל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל עִמּ֛וֹ מִלִּבְנָ֖ה לָכִ֑ישָׁה וַיִּ֣חַן עָלֶ֔יהָ וַיִּלָּ֖חֶם בָּֽהּ׃

אֵ֣ל נַ֭עֲרָץ בְּסוֹד־ קְדֹשִׁ֣ים רַבָּ֑ה וְ֝נוֹרָ֗א עַל־ כָּל־ סְבִיבָֽיו׃

אֲבָרֵ֗ךְ אֶת־ יְ֭הוָה אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְעָצָ֑נִי אַף־ לֵ֝יל֗וֹת יִסְּר֥וּנִי כִלְיוֹתָֽי׃

וַיַּ֧עַשׂ אָסָ֛א הַיָּשָׁ֖ר בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כְּדָוִ֖ד אָבִֽיו׃

מְֽכַסֶּה־ פֶּ֭שַׁע מְבַקֵּ֣שׁ אַהֲבָ֑ה וְשֹׁנֶ֥ה בְ֝דָבָ֗ר מַפְרִ֥יד אַלּֽוּף׃

And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen in mount Gilboa.

Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

tubhyaM hinvaano vasiSTa gaa apo .adhukSan siim avibhir adribhir naraH

ὅτι ἐπέβλεψεν ἐπὶ τὴν ταπείνωσιν τῆς δούλης αὐτοῦ, ἰδοὺ γὰρ ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν μακαριοῦσίν με πᾶσαι αἱ γενεαί·

Λέγω δέ, ἐφʼ ὅσον χρόνον ὁ κληρονόμος νήπιός ἐστιν, οὐδὲν διαφέρει δούλου κύριος πάντων ὤν,

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.

And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king’s house.
