כִּ֚י בְּלַעֲגֵ֣י שָׂפָ֔ה וּבְלָשׁ֖וֹן אַחֶ֑רֶת יְדַבֵּ֖ר אֶל־ הָעָ֥ם הַזֶּֽה׃

הִמּ֧וֹל ׀ יִמּ֛וֹל יְלִ֥יד בּֽ͏ֵיתְךָ֖ וּמִקְנַ֣ת כַּסְפֶּ֑ךָ וְהָיְתָ֧ה בְרִיתִ֛י בִּבְשַׂרְכֶ֖ם לִבְרִ֥ית עוֹלָֽם׃

וַתִּכֹּן֙ כָּל־ מְלֶ֣אכֶת שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה עַד־ הַיּ֛וֹם מוּסַ֥ד בֵּית־ יְהוָ֖ה וְעַד־ כְּלֹת֑וֹ שָׁלֵ֖ם בֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃

וּמִבְּנֵ֖י עֵילָ֑ם מַתַּנְיָ֤ה זְכַרְיָה֙ וִיחִיאֵ֣ל וְעַבְדִּ֔י וִירֵמ֖וֹת וְאֵלִיָּֽה׃

ἐγὼ ἐλήλυθα ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι τοῦ πατρός μου καὶ οὐ λαμβάνετέ με· ἐὰν ἄλλος ἔλθῃ ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι τῷ ἰδίῳ, ἐκεῖνον λήμψεσθε.

Περιτομὴ μὲν γὰρ ὠφελεῖ ἐὰν νόμον πράσσῃς· ἐὰν δὲ παραβάτης νόμου ᾖς, ἡ περιτομή σου ἀκροβυστία γέγονεν.

And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?
