וְרָחֲצ֣וּ מִמֶּ֔נּוּ מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְאַהֲרֹ֣ן וּבָנָ֑יו אֶת־ יְדֵיהֶ֖ם וְאֶת־ רַגְלֵיהֶֽם׃

בַּיּ֥וֹם הָרִאשׁ֖וֹן מִקְרָא־ קֹ֑דֶשׁ כָּל־ מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֥א תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃

בַּיּ֥וֹם הָרִאשׁ֖וֹן מִקְרָא־ קֹ֑דֶשׁ כָּל־ מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֥א תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃

קוֹלָ֖הּ כַּנָּחָ֣שׁ יֵלֵ֑ךְ כִּֽי־ בְחַ֣יִל יֵלֵ֔כוּ וּבְקַרְדֻּמּוֹת֙ בָּ֣אוּ לָ֔הּ כְּחֹטְבֵ֖י עֵצִֽים׃

וְשָׁא֤וּל וְהֵ֙מָּה֙ וְכָל־ אִ֣ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּעֵ֖מֶק הָֽאֵלָ֑ה נִלְחָמִ֖ים עִם־ פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃

מִי־ זֹ֥את הַנִּשְׁקָפָ֖ה כְּמוֹ־ שָׁ֑חַר יָפָ֣ה כַלְּבָנָ֗ה בָּרָה֙ כַּֽחַמָּ֔ה אֲיֻמָּ֖ה כַּנִּדְגָּלֽוֹת׃

אֶלְקָנָ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ וְאֶבְיָסָ֥ף בְּנ֖וֹ וְאַסִּ֥יר בְּנֽוֹ׃

וּבֹ֙עַז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ עוֹבֵ֔ד וְעוֹבֵ֖ד הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ יִשָֽׁי׃

νῦν δὲ γνόντες θεόν, μᾶλλον δὲ γνωσθέντες ὑπὸ θεοῦ, πῶς ἐπιστρέφετε πάλιν ἐπὶ τὰ ἀσθενῆ καὶ πτωχὰ στοιχεῖα, οἷς πάλιν ἄνωθεν ⸀δουλεύειν θέλετε;

And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father.

Ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ θεὸς Ἀβραὰμ καὶ ὁ θεὸς Ἰσαὰκ καὶ ὁ θεὸς Ἰακώβ; οὐκ ἔστιν ⸂ὁ θεὸς⸃ νεκρῶν ἀλλὰ ζώντων.

How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
