עֵֽדֹתֶ֨יךָ ׀ נֶאֶמְנ֬וּ מְאֹ֗ד לְבֵיתְךָ֥ נַאֲוָה־ קֹ֑דֶשׁ יְ֝הוָ֗ה לְאֹ֣רֶךְ יָמִֽים׃

וְעַתָּ֛ה יוֹשֵׁ֥ב יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם וְאִ֣ישׁ יְהוּדָ֑ה שִׁפְטוּ־ נָ֕א בֵּינִ֖י וּבֵ֥ין כַּרְמִֽי׃

וְהָיָה֙ בִּקְרָב־ אִ֔ישׁ לְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֖ת ל֑וֹ וְשָׁלַ֧ח אֶת־ יָד֛וֹ וְהֶחֱזִ֥יק ל֖וֹ וְנָ֥שַׁק לֽוֹ׃

וַתְּכַ֖ל לְהַשְׁקֹת֑וֹ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר גַּ֤ם לִגְמַלֶּ֙יךָ֙ אֶשְׁאָ֔ב עַ֥ד אִם־ כִּלּ֖וּ לִשְׁתֹּֽת׃

אֵלֶ֣יךָ יְהוָ֣ה אֶקְרָ֑א וְאֶל־ אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י אֶתְחַנָּֽן׃

וְאֶת־ חוּקֹק֙ וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־ רְחֹ֖ב וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃

And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.

لَكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌ مِنْ فَوْقِهَا غُرَفٌ مَبْنِيَّةٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ الْمِيعَادَ

And these be the names of those that were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shammuah, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon,

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

And Joshua smote them from Kadeshbarnea even unto Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even unto Gibeon.
