וַיֹּ֥אמֶר יְהוָ֖ה לַדָּ֑ג וַיָּקֵ֥א אֶת־ יוֹנָ֖ה אֶל־ הַיַּבָּשָֽׁה׃

וַיַּ֥עַשׂ כַּפֹּ֖רֶת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר אַמָּתַ֤יִם וָחֵ֙צִי֙ אָרְכָּ֔הּ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי רָחְבָּֽהּ׃

וּשְׁמוּאֵ֕ל טֶ֖רֶם יָדַ֣ע אֶת־ יְהוָ֑ה וְטֶ֛רֶם יִגָּלֶ֥ה אֵלָ֖יו דְּבַר־ יְהוָֽה׃

יָדַ֕עְתִּי כִּ֛י אֵ֥ין ט֖וֹב בָּ֑ם כִּ֣י אִם־ לִשְׂמ֔וֹחַ וְלַעֲשׂ֥וֹת ט֖וֹב בְּחַיָּֽיו׃

שָׂנֵ֗אתִי הַשֹּׁמְרִ֥ים הַבְלֵי־ שָׁ֑וא וַ֝אֲנִ֗י אֶל־ יְהוָ֥ה בָּטָֽחְתִּי׃
