וְרִחַ֥ק יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ הָאָדָ֑ם וְרַבָּ֥ה הָעֲזוּבָ֖ה בְּקֶ֥רֶב הָאָֽרֶץ׃

כֻּלָּ֤ם יֵחַ֙מּוּ֙ כַּתַּנּ֔וּר וְאָכְל֖וּ אֶת־ שֹֽׁפְטֵיהֶ֑ם כָּל־ מַלְכֵיהֶ֣ם נָפָ֔לוּ אֵין־ קֹרֵ֥א בָהֶ֖ם אֵלָֽי׃

כִּֽי־ בִימֵ֥י דָוִ֛יד וְאָסָ֖ף מִקֶּ֑דֶם ראש רָאשֵׁי֙ הַמְשֹׁ֣רְרִ֔ים וְשִׁיר־ תְּהִלָּ֥ה וְהֹד֖וֹת לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃

נֵֽלְכָה־ נָּ֣א עַד־ הַיַּרְדֵּ֗ן וְנִקְחָ֤ה מִשָּׁם֙ אִ֚ישׁ קוֹרָ֣ה אֶחָ֔ת וְנַעֲשֶׂה־ לָּ֥נוּ שָׁ֛ם מָק֖וֹם לָשֶׁ֣בֶת שָׁ֑ם וַיֹּ֖אמֶר לֵֽכוּ׃

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר חַי־ יְהוָ֛ה אֲשֶׁר־ עָמַ֥דְתִּי לְפָנָ֖יו אִם־ אֶקָּ֑ח וַיִּפְצַר־ בּ֥וֹ לָקַ֖חַת וַיְמָאֵֽן׃

בְּכָל־ זֹ֥את חָֽטְאוּ־ ע֑וֹד וְלֹֽא־ הֶ֝אֱמִ֗ינוּ בְּנִפְלְאוֹתָֽיו׃

אָ֣ז יִבְנֶ֤ה יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ מִזְבֵּ֔חַ לַֽיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בְּהַ֖ר עֵיבָֽל׃

וַיִּכְתָּב־ שָׁ֖ם עַל־ הָאֲבָנִ֑ים אֵ֗ת מִשְׁנֵה֙ תּוֹרַ֣ת מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר כָּתַ֔ב לִפְנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
