וָאֹמַ֖ר אֲלֵכֶ֑ם בָּאתֶם֙ עַד־ הַ֣ר הָאֱמֹרִ֔י אֲשֶׁר־ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ נֹתֵ֥ן לָֽנוּ׃

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל אֵ֖ת כָּל־ דִּבְרֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה אֶל־ הָעָ֕ם הַשֹּׁאֲלִ֥ים מֵאִתּ֖וֹ מֶֽלֶךְ׃

הַרְפּ֣וּ וּ֭דְעוּ כִּי־ אָנֹכִ֣י אֱלֹהִ֑ים אָר֥וּם בַּ֝גּוֹיִ֗ם אָר֥וּם בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

וַיַּֽעַבְד֖וּ הַגִּלֻּלִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ לָהֶ֔ם לֹ֥א תַעֲשׂ֖וּ אֶת־ הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּֽה׃

וַעֲבָדֶ֨יךָ יַֽעַבְר֜וּ כָּל־ חֲל֥וּץ צָבָ֛א לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר אֲדֹנִ֖י דֹּבֵֽר׃
