בִּשְׁנַ֤ת הַיּוֹבֵל֙ יָשׁ֣וּב הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה לַאֲשֶׁ֥ר קָנָ֖הוּ מֵאִתּ֑וֹ לַאֲשֶׁר־ ל֖וֹ אֲחֻזַּ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ׃

וַיִּקְרָ֗א אֶל־ יֽוֹחָנָן֙ בֶּן־ קָרֵ֔חַ וְאֶ֛ל כָּל־ שָׂרֵ֥י הַחֲיָלִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתּ֑וֹ וּלְכָ֨ל־ הָעָ֔ם לְמִקָּטֹ֖ן וְעַד־ גָּדֽוֹל׃

אֵ֖לֶּה שְׁמ֣וֹת בְּנֵֽי־ עֵשָׂ֑ו אֱלִיפַ֗ז בֶּן־ עָדָה֙ אֵ֣שֶׁת עֵשָׂ֔ו רְעוּאֵ֕ל בֶּן־ בָּשְׂמַ֖ת אֵ֥שֶׁת עֵשָֽׂו׃

וְשָׁא֤וּל וְאִֽישׁ־ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נֶאֶסְפ֔וּ וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בְּעֵ֣מֶק הָאֵלָ֑ה וַיַּעַרְכ֥וּ מִלְחָמָ֖ה לִקְרַ֥את פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃

וְאִ֣ם ׀ תֵּלֵ֣ךְ בִּדְרָכַ֗י לִשְׁמֹ֤ר חֻקַּי֙ וּמִצְוֺתַ֔י כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר הָלַ֖ךְ דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֑יךָ וְהַאַרַכְתִּ֖י אֶת־ יָמֶֽיךָ׃

וּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל יָשְׁב֖וּ בְּקֶ֣רֶב הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֑י הַחִתִּ֤י וְהָֽאֱמֹרִי֙ וְהַפְּרִזִּ֔י וְהַחִוִּ֖י וְהַיְבוּסִֽי׃
