וְכִ֣י תֹאמְר֔וּ מַה־ נֹּאכַ֤֖ל בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה הַשְּׁבִיעִ֑ת הֵ֚ן לֹ֣א נִזְרָ֔ע וְלֹ֥א נֶאֱסֹ֖ף אֶת־ תְּבוּאָתֵֽנוּ׃

וַיִּ֤בֶן הָעִיר֙ מִסָּבִ֔יב מִן־ הַמִּלּ֖וֹא וְעַד־ הַסָּבִ֑יב וְיוֹאָ֕ב יְחַיֶּ֖ה אֶת־ שְׁאָ֥ר הָעִֽיר׃

וְאִם־ לֹ֤א תִשְׁמְעוּ֙ בְּק֣וֹל יְהוָ֔ה וּמְרִיתֶ֖ם אֶת־ פִּ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְהָיְתָ֧ה יַד־ יְהוָ֛ה בָּכֶ֖ם וּבַאֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃

מָגֵ֨ן גִּבֹּרֵ֜יהוּ מְאָדָּ֗ם אַנְשֵׁי־ חַ֙יִל֙ מְתֻלָּעִ֔ים בְּאֵשׁ־ פְּלָד֥וֹת הָרֶ֖כֶב בְּי֣וֹם הֲכִינ֑וֹ וְהַבְּרֹשִׁ֖ים הָרְעָֽלוּ׃

וְלִבְנֵ֣י לֵוִ֔י הִנֵּ֥ה נָתַ֛תִּי כָּל־ מֽ͏ַעֲשֵׂ֥ר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְנַחֲלָ֑ה חֵ֤לֶף עֲבֹֽדָתָם֙ אֲשֶׁר־ הֵ֣ם עֹֽבְדִ֔ים אֶת־ עֲבֹדַ֖ת אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

וַתֹּ֥אמֶר נָעֳמִ֖י אֶל־ ר֣וּת כַּלָּתָ֑הּ ט֣וֹב בִּתִּ֗י כִּ֤י תֵֽצְאִי֙ עִם־ נַ֣עֲרוֹתָ֔יו וְלֹ֥א יִפְגְּעוּ־ בָ֖ךְ בְּשָׂדֶ֥ה אַחֵֽר׃

וּמִכְּלֵי֙ בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֔ה הֵבִ֥יא נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֖ר לְבָבֶ֑ל וַיִּתְּנֵ֥ם בְּהֵיכָל֖וֹ בְּבָבֶֽל׃
