וּלְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ אָמַ֣ר בְּאָזְנַ֔י עִבְר֥וּ בָעִ֛יר אַחֲרָ֖יו וְהַכּ֑וּ על־ אַל־ תָּחֹ֥ס עיניכם עֵינְכֶ֖ם וְאַל־ תַּחְמֹֽלוּ׃

וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ אֶל־ אִ֣ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים בֹּאָה־ אִתִּ֥י הַבַּ֖יְתָה וּֽסְעָ֑דָה וְאֶתְּנָ֥ה לְךָ֖ מַתָּֽת׃

וָאֹמַ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם אִם־ ט֧וֹב בְּעֵינֵיכֶ֛ם הָב֥וּ שְׂכָרִ֖י וְאִם־ לֹ֣א ׀ חֲדָ֑לוּ וַיִּשְׁקְל֥וּ אֶת־ שְׂכָרִ֖י שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים כָּֽסֶף׃
