אֵ֤יךְ הָי֣וּ לְשַׁמָּ֣ה כְרָ֑גַע סָ֥פוּ תַ֝֗מּוּ מִן־ בַּלָּהֽוֹת׃

זֶ֤בַח וּמִנְחָ֨ה ׀ לֹֽא־ חָפַ֗צְתָּ אָ֭זְנַיִם כָּרִ֣יתָ לִּ֑י עוֹלָ֥ה וַ֝חֲטָאָ֗ה לֹ֣א שָׁאָֽלְתָּ׃

שְׁמַ֣ע בְּ֭נִי וְקַ֣ח אֲמָרָ֑י וְיִרְבּ֥וּ לְ֝ךָ֗ שְׁנ֣וֹת חַיִּֽים׃

Τρῶες μιμνήσκοντο· συνεκλόνεον γὰρ ὀϊστοί.

They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

χρειοῖ ἀναγκαίῃ, πρό τε παίδων καὶ πρὸ γυναικῶν.

Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said,

aa no bhadraaH kratavo yantu vishvato .adabdhaaso apariitaasa udbhidaH

Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,

aa no gavyebhir ashvyaiH sahasrair upa gachatam

Πουλυδάμαντʼ ἔπι Πανθοΐδην καὶ Ἀγήνορα δῖον,

ὣς τῶν ἐρχομένων ἀπὸ χαλκοῦ θεσπεσίοιο

Ἕκτορα δʼ ἀσπερχὲς κλονέων ἔφεπʼ ὠκὺς Ἀχιλλεύς.

δούρατα δʼ αἴ κʼ ἐθέλῃσθα καὶ ἓν καὶ εἴκοσι δήεις
