אֱלֹהִ֥ים אַל־ דֳּמִי־ לָ֑ךְ אַל־ תֶּחֱרַ֖שׁ וְאַל־ תִּשְׁקֹ֣ט אֵֽל׃

לְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י בְרִית֑וֹ וּלְזֹכְרֵ֥י פִ֝קֻּדָ֗יו לַעֲשׂוֹתָֽם׃

וְאִם־ כֹּ֨ה יֹאמְר֜וּ עֲל֤וּ עָלֵ֙ינוּ֙ וְעָלִ֔ינוּ כִּֽי־ נְתָנָ֥ם יְהוָ֖ה בְּיָדֵ֑נוּ וְזֶה־ לָּ֖נוּ הָאֽוֹת׃

νῦν δέ με λευγαλέῳ θανάτῳ εἵμαρτο ἁλῶναι

And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.

τὸν δʼ εὗρον παρά τε κλισίῃ καὶ νηῒ μελαίνῃ

yaH somapaa nicito vajrabaahur yo vajrahastaH sa janaasa indraH

πρῶτος ἐγὼν ἕλον ἄνδρα, κόμισσα δὲ μώνυχας ἵππους,

This is the first and great commandment.

And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

θεύσεσθαι· τοὺς δʼ αὖθι ἄναξ ἀνδρῶν Αὐγείας

ἀφραδέως, μή πως τάχʼ ὑπʼ αὐτοῦ δουρὶ δαμήῃς.

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
