צוּף־ דְּ֭בַשׁ אִמְרֵי־ נֹ֑עַם מָת֥וֹק לַ֝נֶּפֶשׁ וּמַרְפֵּ֥א לָעָֽצֶם׃

וילדו וַיִּוָלְד֧וּ לְדָוִ֛ד בָּנִ֖ים בְּחֶבְר֑וֹן וַיְהִ֤י בְכוֹרוֹ֙ אַמְנ֔וֹן לַאֲחִינֹ֖עַם הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִֽת׃

ἔνθά τις ἄλκιμον ἦτορ ἔχων Τρώεσσι μαχέσθω.

yas taatRSaaNa ubhayaaya janmane mayaH kRNoSi praya aa ca suuraye

And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.

The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.

vishve jaananti mahinaa yad aagaad indrasya karma sukRtaa puruuNi

And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;

divi muurdhaanaM dadhiSe svarSaaM jihvaam agne cakRSe havyavaaham

And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.

And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

ψεῦσταί τʼ ὀρχησταί τε χοροιτυπίῃσιν ἄριστοι
