וְאֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֣י דִישָׁ֑ן חֶמְדָּ֥ן וְאֶשְׁבָּ֖ן וְיִתְרָ֥ן וּכְרָֽן׃

אֵ֣יךְ תִּשְׁקֹ֔טִי וַֽיהוָ֖ה צִוָּה־ לָ֑הּ אֶֽל־ אַשְׁקְל֛וֹן וְאֶל־ ח֥וֹף הַיָּ֖ם שָׁ֥ם יְעָדָֽהּ׃

כִּֽי־ כוֹכְבֵ֤י הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וּכְסִ֣ילֵיהֶ֔ם לֹ֥א יָהֵ֖לּוּ אוֹרָ֑ם חָשַׁ֤ךְ הַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ בְּצֵאת֔וֹ וְיָרֵ֖חַ לֹֽא־ יַגִּ֥יהַ אוֹרֽוֹ׃

וַיִּֽהְיוּ֙ כָּל־ יְמֵי־ שֵׁ֔ת שְׁתֵּ֤ים עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּתְשַׁ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַיָּמֹֽת׃

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר עֵשָׂ֔ו אַצִּֽיגָה־ נָּ֣א עִמְּךָ֔ מִן־ הָעָ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתִּ֑י וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ לָ֣מָּה זֶּ֔ה אֶמְצָא־ חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֵ֥י אֲדֹנִֽי׃

אַיֶּ֥לֶת אֲהָבִ֗ים וְֽיַעֲלַ֫ת חֵֽן דַּ֭דֶּיהָ יְרַוֻּ֣ךָ בְכָל־ עֵ֑ת בְּ֝אַהֲבָתָ֗הּ תִּשְׁגֶּ֥ה תָמִֽיד׃

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.

sasasya yad viyutaa sasminn uudhann Rtasya dhaaman raNayanta devaaH

upopen nu maghavan bhuuya in nu te daanaM devasya pRcyate

evaasmad agne vi mumugdhi paashaan hotash cikitva iha tuu niSadya

kRdhi praketam upa maasy aa bhara daddhi bhaagaM tanvo\ yena maamahaH

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Πορευθέντες ἀπαγγείλατε Ἰωάννῃ ἃ ἀκούετε καὶ βλέπετε·

فَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ

tvam agna indro vRSabhaH sataam asi tvaM viSNur urugaayo namasya\H
