עֹשֶׂ֤ה ׀ שָׁ֘מַ֤יִם וָאָ֗רֶץ אֶת־ הַיָּ֥ם וְאֶת־ כָּל־ אֲשֶׁר־ בָּ֑ם הַשֹּׁמֵ֖ר אֱמֶ֣ת לְעוֹלָֽם׃

עַל־ שֶׁ֥בֶר בַּת־ עַמִּ֖י הָשְׁבָּ֑רְתִּי קָדַ֕רְתִּי שַׁמָּ֖ה הֶחֱזִקָֽתְנִי׃

וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ אֹתָהּ֙ קְטֹ֔רֶת רֹ֖קַח מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה רוֹקֵ֑חַ מְמֻלָּ֖ח טָה֥וֹר קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

שְׁ֭בֹר זְר֣וֹעַ רָשָׁ֑ע וָ֝רָ֗ע תִּֽדְרוֹשׁ־ רִשְׁע֥וֹ בַל־ תִּמְצָֽא׃

וְהַמּוֹעֵ֗ד הָיָ֛ה לְאִ֥ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עִם־ הָאֹרֵ֑ב הֶ֕רֶב לְהַעֲלוֹתָ֛ם מַשְׂאַ֥ת הֶעָשָׁ֖ן מִן־ הָעִֽיר׃

וְאֶת־ הַשֻּׁלְחָן֙ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ כֵּלָ֔יו וְאֶת־ הַמְּנֹרָ֖ה וְאֶת־ כֵּלֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֖ת מִזְבַּ֥ח הַקְּטֹֽרֶת׃

וְרָאָ֥הוּ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֑י אִם־ פָּשֹׂ֤ה תִפְשֶׂה֙ בָּע֔וֹר וְטִמֵּ֤א הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֹת֔וֹ נֶ֥גַע צָרַ֖עַת הִֽוא׃

dhRtavrataa aadityaa iSiraa aare mat karta rahasuur ivaagaH

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

οὗτος δὲ προτέρης γενεῆς προτέρων τʼ ἀνθρώπων·

I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.

And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.
