בִּימֵ֞י שַׁמְגַּ֤ר בֶּן־ עֲנָת֙ בִּימֵ֣י יָעֵ֔ל חָדְל֖וּ אֳרָח֑וֹת וְהֹלְכֵ֣י נְתִיב֔וֹת יֵלְכ֕וּ אֳרָח֖וֹת עֲקַלְקַלּֽוֹת׃

καὶ ἐξελθὼν περὶ τρίτην ὥραν εἶδεν ἄλλους ἑστῶτας ἐν τῇ ἀγορᾷ ἀργούς·

Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.

The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.

ὁ δὲ εἰδὼς αὐτῶν τὴν ὑπόκρισιν εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Τί με πειράζετε; φέρετέ μοι δηνάριον ἵνα ἴδω.
