sa shevadhiM ni dadhiSe vivasvati vishvasyaika iishiSe saasy ukthya\H

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

tasya puuSaa prasave yaati vidvaan sampashyan vishvaa bhuvanaani gopaaH

anavas te ratham ashvaaya takSan tvaSTaa vajram puruhuuta dyumantam

puurviiS Ta indra niSSidho janeSu jahy asuSviin pra vRhaapRNataH

bhaanuH shukreNa shociSaa vy a\dyaut praaruurucad rodasii maataraa shuciH

And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

shruuyaa agnish citrabhaanur havam me vishvaabhir giirbhir amRto vicetaaH

uj jaayataam parashur jyotiSaa saha bhuuyaa Rtasya sudughaa puraaNavat

aapo bhuuyiSThaa ity eko abraviid agnir bhuuyiSTha ity anyo abraviit

yaabhir naraM goSuyudhaM nRSaahye kSetrasya saataa tanayasya jinvathaH

ya stomebhir vaavRdhe puurvyebhir yo madhyamebhir uta nuutanebhiH
