sa tridhaatu sharaNaM sharma yaMsat trivartu jyotiH svabhiSTy a\sme

ruupaM-ruupam pratiruupo babhuuva tad asya ruupam praticakSaNaaya

Rtena Rtam apihitaM dhruvaM vaaM suuryasya yatra vimucanty ashvaan

And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.

So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite’s hope shall perish:

aabhuuSeNyaM vo maruto mahitvanaM didRkSeNyaM suuryasyeva cakSaNam

The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.

kRtaa ivopa hi prasarsre apsu sa piiyuuSaM dhayati puurvasuunaam

prajaavatiiH pururuupaa iha syur indraaya puurviir uSaso duhaanaaH

For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.

She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

svadaami gharmam prati yanty uutaya aa vaam uurjaanii ratham ashvinaaruhat

Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

רֹ֤עוּ עַמִּים֙ וָחֹ֔תּוּ וְהַֽאֲזִ֔ינוּ כֹּ֖ל מֶרְחַקֵּי־ אָ֑רֶץ הִתְאַזְּר֣וּ וָחֹ֔תּוּ הִֽתְאַזְּר֖וּ וָחֹֽתּוּ׃

וְיֵֽדְעוּ֙ כָּל־ הַקָּהָ֣ל הַזֶּ֔ה כִּֽי־ לֹ֛א בְּחֶ֥רֶב וּבַחֲנִ֖ית יְהוֹשִׁ֣יעַ יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֤י לַֽיהוָה֙ הַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה וְנָתַ֥ן אֶתְכֶ֖ם בְּיָדֵֽנוּ׃

וְיַד־ יְהוָה֩ הָיְתָ֨ה אֵלַ֜י בָּעֶ֗רֶב לִפְנֵי֙ בּ֣וֹא הַפָּלִ֔יט וַיִּפְתַּ֣ח אֶת־ פִּ֔י עַד־ בּ֥וֹא אֵלַ֖י בַּבֹּ֑קֶר וַיִּפָּ֣תַח פִּ֔י וְלֹ֥א נֶאֱלַ֖מְתִּי עֽוֹד׃

וְגַם־ עַבְדֵ֤י חירם חוּרָם֙ וְעַבְדֵ֣י שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־ הֵבִ֥יאוּ זָהָ֖ב מֵאוֹפִ֑יר הֵבִ֛יאוּ עֲצֵ֥י אַלְגּוּמִּ֖ים וְאֶ֥בֶן יְקָרָֽה׃

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֗ה פְּקֹ֨ד כָּל־ בְּכֹ֤ר זָכָר֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִבֶּן־ חֹ֖דֶשׁ וָמָ֑עְלָה וְשָׂ֕א אֵ֖ת מִסְפַּ֥ר שְׁמֹתָֽם׃

ἀπεκρίθη Ἰησοῦς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Ἓν ἔργον ἐποίησα καὶ πάντες θαυμάζετε.

וַיְהִ֣י בַבֹּ֗קֶר בְּצֵ֤את הַיַּ֙יִן֙ מִנָּבָ֔ל וַתַּגֶּד־ ל֣וֹ אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ אֶת־ הַדְּבָרִ֖ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וַיָּ֤מָת לִבּוֹ֙ בְּקִרְבּ֔וֹ וְה֖וּא הָיָ֥ה לְאָֽבֶן׃

וַיִּ֤בֶן אֶת־ היצוע הַיָּצִ֙יעַ֙ עַל־ כָּל־ הַבַּ֔יִת חָמֵ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת קֽוֹמָת֑וֹ וַיֶּאֱחֹ֥ז אֶת־ הַבַּ֖יִת בַּעֲצֵ֥י אֲרָזִֽים׃

וַאֲנִ֗י אָ֤נָה אוֹלִיךְ֙ אֶת־ חֶרְפָּתִ֔י וְאַתָּ֗ה תִּהְיֶ֛ה כְּאַחַ֥ד הַנְּבָלִ֖ים בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְעַתָּה֙ דַּבֶּר־ נָ֣א אֶל־ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ כִּ֛י לֹ֥א יִמְנָעֵ֖נִי מִמֶּֽךָּ׃

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵ֗ל הַגִּ֤ישׁוּ אֵלַי֙ אֶת־ אֲגַג֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ עֲמָלֵ֔ק וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ אֵלָ֔יו אֲגַ֖ג מַעֲדַנֹּ֑ת וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲגָ֔ג אָכֵ֖ן סָ֥ר מַר־ הַמָּֽוֶת׃
