vRkSasya shaakhaam aruNasya bapsatas te suubharvaa vRSabhaaH prem araaviSuH

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

dyumnaani yeSu vasutaatii raaran vishve sanvantu prabhRtheSu vaajam

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

tvam agne sahasaa sahantamaH shuSmintamo jaayase devataataye rayir na devataataye

duhanty uudhar divyaani dhuutayo bhuumim pinvanti payasaa parijrayaH
