When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:

Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.

tvaaM vRtreSv indra satpatiM tarutraM tvaaM caSTe muSTihaa goSu yudhyan

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.

The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.

vaavRdhaanas taviSiir yasya puurviir dyaur na kSatram abhibhuuti puSyaat

God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first.

וַיָּכֶן֩ לָהֶ֨ם עֻזִּיָּ֜הוּ לְכָל־ הַצָּבָ֗א מָגִנִּ֤ים וּרְמָחִים֙ וְכ֣וֹבָעִ֔ים וְשִׁרְיֹנ֖וֹת וּקְשָׁת֑וֹת וּלְאַבְנֵ֖י קְלָעִֽים׃

εἶπεν δέ· Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐδεὶς προφήτης δεκτός ἐστιν ἐν τῇ πατρίδι αὐτοῦ.

וַיִּסְעוּ֙ מִפְּנֵ֣י הַֽחִירֹ֔ת וַיַּֽעַבְר֥וּ בְתוֹךְ־ הַיָּ֖ם הַמִּדְבָּ֑רָה וַיֵּ֨לְכ֜וּ דֶּ֣רֶךְ שְׁלֹ֤שֶׁת יָמִים֙ בְּמִדְבַּ֣ר אֵתָ֔ם וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בְּמָרָֽה׃

כִּ֣י חֶשְׁבּ֔וֹן עִ֗יר סִיחֹ֛ן מֶ֥לֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִ֖י הִ֑וא וְה֣וּא נִלְחַ֗ם בְּמֶ֤לֶךְ מוֹאָב֙ הָֽרִאשׁ֔וֹן וַיִּקַּ֧ח אֶת־ כָּל־ אַרְצ֛וֹ מִיָּד֖וֹ עַד־ אַרְנֹֽן׃

צופה וממר ועושה את כל היצור ואת כל הדבור שם אחד, וסימן לדבר כ"ב חפצים וגוף אחד.
