aa bundaM vRtrahaa dade jaataH pRchad vi maataram

He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

aa gnaa agna ihaavase hotraaM yaviSTha bhaaratiim

sanema ye ta uutibhis taranto vishvaa spRdha aaryeNa dasyuun

Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God.

To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

hann acyutacyud dasmeSayantam RNoH puro vi duro asya vishvaaH

I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.

The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.
