indraaya soma paatave nRbhir yataH svaayudho madintamaH

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

nakiS TaM karmaNaa nashad yash cakaara sadaavRdham

yad devaaH sharma sharaNaM yad bhadraM yad anaaturam

Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

saM tvaa shishaami jaagRhy adabdhaM vipra manmabhiH

Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD of hosts:

Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.

Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

tvaavato hiiaa\ndra kratve asmi tvaavato .avituH shuura raatau

ni baadhate amatir nagnataa jasur ver na veviiyate matiH

For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,

devo\ .anayat savitaa supaaNis tasya vayam prasave yaama urviiH

And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.
