aMseSv aa marutaH khaadayo vo vakSassu rukmaa upashishriyaaNaaH

Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?

Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

ime ta indra te vayam puruSTuta ye tvaarabhya caraamasi prabhuuvaso

satyam uucur nara evaa hi cakrur anu svadhaam Rbhavo jagmur etaam

dve srutii ashRNavam pitRRNaam ahaM devaanaam uta martyaanaam

nakiS Ta etaa vrataa minanti nRbhyo yad ebhyaH shruSTiM cakartha

sa no niyudbhiH puruhuuta vedho vishvavaaraabhir aa gahi prayajyo

And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

vayaM hi te cakRmaa bhuuri daavane sadyash cin mahi daavane

iiLito agne manasaa no arhan devaan yakSi maanuSaat puurvo adya

agnir indro varuNo mitro aryamaa vaayuH puuSaa sarasvatii sajoSasaH

huve vaH suunuM sahaso yuvaanam adroghavaacam matibhir yaviSTham

ukSaa mimaati prati yanti dhenavo devasya deviir upa yanti niSkRtam

uta manye pitur adruho mano maatur mahi svatavas tad dhaviimabhiH
