shRNvantam ugram uutaye samatsu ghnantaM vRtraaNi saMjitaM dhanaanaam

agnir asmi janmanaa jaatavedaa ghRtam me cakSur amRtam ma aasan

uSas tam ashyaaM yashasaM suviiraM daasapravargaM rayim ashvabudhyam

divi kSayantaa rajasaH pRthivyaam pra vaaM ghRtasya nirNijo dadiiran

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

vedhaa adRpto agnir vijaanann uudhar na gonaaM svaadmaa pituunaam

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
