stokaanaam agne medaso ghRtasya hotaH praashaana prathamo niSadya

shivaM yat santam ashivo jahaami svaat sakhyaad araNiiM naabhim emi

rakSohaNaM vaajinam aa jigharmi mitram prathiSTham upa yaami sharma

aapo na sindhum abhi yat samakSaran somaasa indraM kulyaa iva hradam

Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.

agnir na ye bhraajasaa rukmavakSaso vaataaso na svayujaH sadyauutayaH
