Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

ayaM sa soma indra te sutaH piba

For John was not yet cast into prison.

And he arose, and departed to his house.

daataa raadhaaMsi shumbhati

Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.

And Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

πολλὸν τῶν ἄλλων ἐξάλμενος· ἐν γὰρ Ἀθήνη

עוֹרֵ֙נוּ֙ כְּתַנּ֣וּר נִכְמָ֔רוּ מִפְּנֵ֖י זַלְעֲפ֥וֹת רָעָֽב׃

וְכִֽי־ תִזְבְּח֥וּ זֶֽבַח־ תּוֹדָ֖ה לַיהוָ֑ה לִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֖ם תִּזְבָּֽחוּ׃

ἦ ῥʼ ἅλιον τὸν μῦθον ὑπέστημεν Μενελάῳ

ἠΰτε πῦρ ἀΐδηλον ἐπιφλέγει ἄσπετον ὕλην

וְגַם־ אֲנִ֖י הֶחֱלֵ֣יתִי הַכּוֹתֶ֑ךָ הַשְׁמֵ֖ם עַל־ חַטֹּאתֶֽךָ׃

וּשְׁאַבְתֶּם־ מַ֖יִם בְּשָׂשׂ֑וֹן מִמַּעַיְנֵ֖י הַיְשׁוּעָֽה׃

אֵ֭דְעָה מִלִּ֣ים יַעֲנֵ֑נִי וְ֝אָבִ֗ינָה מַה־ יֹּ֥אמַר לִֽי׃

הָרִ֣יעוּ לַֽ֭יהוָה כָּל־ הָאָ֑רֶץ פִּצְח֖וּ וְרַנְּנ֣וּ וְזַמֵּֽרוּ׃
