ח֭וֹחַ עָלָ֣ה בְיַד־ שִׁכּ֑וֹר וּ֝מָשָׁ֗ל בְּפִ֣י כְסִילִֽים׃

מִ֭י לֹא־ יָדַ֣ע בְּכָל־ אֵ֑לֶּה כִּ֥י יַד־ יְ֝הוָה עָ֣שְׂתָה זֹּֽאת׃

אֲנִ֥י יְדַעְתִּ֖יךָ בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר בְּאֶ֖רֶץ תַּלְאֻבֽוֹת׃

לָֽמָּה־ פָנֶ֥יךָ תַסְתִּ֑יר תִּשְׁכַּ֖ח עָנְיֵ֣נוּ וְֽלַחֲצֵֽנוּ׃

أَطَّلَعَ الْغَيْبَ أَمِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ عَهْدًا

Σαρπηδὼν Διὸς υἱός, ἔπος δʼ ὀλοφυδνὸν ἔειπε·

דִּבְרֵ֥י פִי־ חָכָ֖ם חֵ֑ן וְשִׂפְת֥וֹת כְּסִ֖יל תְּבַלְּעֶֽנּוּ׃

μὴ μὰν ἀσπουδί γε νεῶν ἐπιβαῖεν ἕκηλοι,
