ajuryasya madintamaM yam iimahe

vaajasanir varivovid vayodhaaH

The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,

stuSa uu Su vo nRtamaaya dhRSNave

aryo gayam maMhamaanaM vi daashuSe

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:

uruSyantu maruto vRddhashavasaH

And Haphraim, and Shihon, and Anaharath,

mitram iimahe varuNaM svastaye

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.

pra te divo na stanayanti shuSmaaH

הֲסִיר֣וֹתִי מִסֵּ֣בֶל שִׁכְמ֑וֹ כַּ֝פָּ֗יו מִדּ֥וּד תַּעֲבֹֽרְנָה׃

φράζεο Τυδεΐδη καὶ χάζεο, μηδὲ θεοῖσιν

וְכִֽי־ יָג֧וּר אִתְּךָ֛ גֵּ֖ר בְּאַרְצְכֶ֑ם לֹ֥א תוֹנ֖וּ אֹתֽוֹ׃

πίονα πενταέτηρον ὑπερμενέϊ Κρονίωνι,

שְֽׁמַֽע־ נָ֭א וְאָנֹכִ֣י אֲדַבֵּ֑ר אֶ֝שְׁאָלְךָ֗ וְהוֹדִיעֵֽנִי׃

τούτω μὲν θεράποντε κομείτων, τώδε δὲ νῶϊ

וַיִּצְבְּר֥וּ אֹתָ֖ם חֳמָרִ֣ם חֳמָרִ֑ם וַתִּבְאַ֖שׁ הָאָֽרֶץ׃
