varuNaH praavitaa bhuvan mitro vishvaabhir uutibhiH

vi yaa jaanaati jasuriM vi tRSyantaM vi kaaminam

Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me;

Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me.

vishveSaaM tmanaa shobhiSTham upeva divi dhaavamaanam

tripaad uurdhva ud ait puruSaH paado .asyehaabhavat punaH

uSas tac citram aa bharaasmabhyaM vaajiniivati

indre vishvaani viiryaaaa\ kRtaani kartvaani ca

If thou wilt send our brother with us, we will go down and buy thee food:

The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

samraajaa yaa ghRtayonii mitrash cobhaa varuNash ca

The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

And Ashan with her suburbs, and Bethshemesh with her suburbs:

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

taM tvaa vaajeSu vaajinaM vaajayaamaH shatakrato

upo ratheSu pRSatiir ayugdhvam praSTir vahati rohitaH

aa shyenaaso na pakSiNo vRthaa naro havyaa no viitaye gata

aritraM vaaM divas pRthu tiirthe sindhuunaaM rathaH

And he said unto him, Go in peace. So he departed from him a little way.

baL itthaa parvataanaaM khidram bibharSi pRthivi

Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.

aad it saaptasya carkirann aanuunasya mahi shravaH

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
