padaM devasya namasaa vyantaH shravasyavaH shrava aapann amRktam

jambhayanto .ahiM vRkaM rakSaaMsi sanemy asmad yuyavann amiivaaH

yaa jaagRvir vidathe shasyamaanendra yat te jaayate viddhi tasya

Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

kathaa kad asya sakhyaM sakhibhyo ye asmin kaamaM suyujaM tatasre

tava praNiitii haryashva suuribhir vishvaa tarema duritaa

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

shuSNasya cit parihitaM yad ojo divas pari sugrathitaM tad aadaH

stRNaanaaso barhiH pastyaaaa\vat tvotaa id indra vaajam agman

adhi stotrasya sakhyasya gaata sanaad dhi vo ratnadheyaani santi

vaSaT te viSNav aasa aa kRNomi tan me juSasva shipiviSTa havyam

It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
