aa na indro duuraad aa na aasaad abhiSTikRd avase yaasad ugraH

For thus hath the LORD said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.

suta it tvaM nimishla indra some stome brahmaNi shasyamaana ukthe

aso nu kam ajaro vardhaash ca vishved etaa savanaa tuutumaa kRSe

A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

dadhikraavNa iSa uurjo maho yad amanmahi marutaaM naama bhadram

A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

iishaana imaa bhuvanaani viiyase yujaana indo haritaH suparNya\H

yuuyaM hi SThaa rathyo\ nas tanuunaaM yuuyaM dakSasya vacaso babhuuva

The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:

Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

svaaM caagne tanva\m piprayasvaasmabhyaM ca saubhagam aa yajasva

And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padanaram, and blessed him.

bhuuri hi te savanaa maanuSeSu bhuuri maniiSii havate tvaam it

maa vo vacaaMsi paricakSyaaNi vocaM sumneSv id vo antamaa madema

tat te janmotaikaM vasiSThaagastyo yat tvaa visha aajabhaara

yad anyaasu vRSabho roraviiti so anyasmin yuuthe ni dadhaati retaH

yad agne adya mithunaa shapaato yad vaacas tRSTaM janayanta rebhaaH

no aha pra vindasy anyatra somapiitaye vishvasmaad indra uttaraH

evaa ca tvaM sarama aajagantha prabaadhitaa sahasaa daivyena

And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

dasha svadhaabhir adhi saano avye mRjanti tvaa nadya\H sapta yahviiH

Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me.
