taabhir yaasi duutyaaM suuryasya kaamena kRta shrava ichamaanaH

ud vRha rakSaH sahamuulam indra vRshcaa madhyam praty agraM shRNiihi

The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.

uta na iiM tvaSTaa gantv achaa smat suuribhir abhipitve sajoSaaH

indraagnii vRtrahaNaa suvajraa pra no navyebhis tirataM deSNaiH

What time they wax warm, they vanish: when it is hot, they are consumed out of their place.

avor vaaM nuunam ashvinaa yuvaakur huve yad vaaM sute maadhvii vasuuyuH

To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
