Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

vishaaM kaviM vishpatiM shashvatiinaaM nitoshanaM vRSabhaM carSaNiinaam

SaTtriMshaaMsh ca caturaH kalpayantash chandaaMsi ca dadhata aadvaadasham

An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed.

All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.

pra vaaM sharadvaan vRSabho na niSSaaT puurviir iSash carati madhva iSNan

Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
