ה֣וּא דְבַר־ יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֤ר אֶל־ יֵהוּא֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר בְּנֵ֣י רְבִיעִ֔ים יֵשְׁב֥וּ לְךָ֖ עַל־ כִּסֵּ֣א יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וֽ͏ַיְהִי־ כֵֽן׃
וְהַפְשֵׁ֤ט אֶֽת־ אַהֲרֹן֙ אֶת־ בְּגָדָ֔יו וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֖ם אֶת־ אֶלְעָזָ֣ר בְּנ֑וֹ וְאַהֲרֹ֥ן יֵאָסֵ֖ף וּמֵ֥ת שָֽׁם׃
וַיִּרְדְּפֵ֣הוּ אֲבִימֶ֔לֶךְ וַיָּ֖נָס מִפָּנָ֑יו וַֽיִּפְּל֛וּ חֲלָלִ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים עַד־ פֶּ֥תַח הַשָּֽׁעַר׃
וַיְהִ֤י בַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ כַּעֲל֣וֹת הַמִּנְחָ֔ה וְהִנֵּה־ מַ֥יִם בָּאִ֖ים מִדֶּ֣רֶךְ אֱד֑וֹם וַתִּמָּלֵ֥א הָאָ֖רֶץ אֶת־ הַמָּֽיִם׃
וְרָ֖ם לְבָבֶ֑ךָ וְשָֽׁכַחְתָּ֙ אֶת־ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ הַמּוֹצִיאֲךָ֛ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרַ֖יִם מִבֵּ֥ית עֲבָדִֽים׃
וְהִשְׁתְּכַ֣ח בְּאַחְמְתָ֗א בְּבִֽירְתָ֛א דִּ֛י בְּמָדַ֥י מְדִינְתָּ֖ה מְגִלָּ֣ה חֲדָ֑ה וְּכֵן־ כְּתִ֥יב בְּגַוַּ֖הּ דִּכְרוֹנָֽה׃
וַיָּבֹ֤א הָעָם֙ בֵּֽית־ אֵ֔ל וַיֵּ֤שְׁבוּ שָׁם֙ עַד־ הָעֶ֔רֶב לִפְנֵ֖י הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיִּשְׂא֣וּ קוֹלָ֔ם וַיִּבְכּ֖וּ בְּכִ֥י גָדֽוֹל׃
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהֶם֙ בָּר֔וּךְ מִפִּיו֙ יִקְרָ֣א אֵלַ֔י אֵ֥ת כָּל־ הַדְּבָרִ֖ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וַאֲנִ֛י כֹּתֵ֥ב עַל־ הַסֵּ֖פֶר בַּדְּיֽוֹ׃
כְּס֤וּס עָגוּר֙ כֵּ֣ן אֲצַפְצֵ֔ף אֶהְגֶּ֖ה כַּיּוֹנָ֑ה דַּלּ֤וּ עֵינַי֙ לַמָּר֔וֹם אֲדֹנָ֖י עָֽשְׁקָה־ לִּ֥י עָרְבֵֽנִי׃
וְאִֽם־ עָמְד֖וּ בְּסוֹדִ֑י וְיַשְׁמִ֤עוּ דְבָרַי֙ אֶת־ עַמִּ֔י וִֽישִׁבוּם֙ מִדַּרְכָּ֣ם הָרָ֔ע וּמֵרֹ֖עַ מַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃
וְעָבַ֨ר לָכֶ֧ם כָּל־ חָל֛וּץ אֶת־ הַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה עַ֧ד הוֹרִישׁ֛וֹ אֶת־ אֹיְבָ֖יו מִפָּנָֽיו׃
וְרָאָ֥הוּ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֑י אִם־ פָּשֹׂ֤ה תִפְשֶׂה֙ בָּע֔וֹר וְטִמֵּ֤א הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֹת֔וֹ נֶ֥גַע צָרַ֖עַת הִֽוא׃
For who can eat, or who else can hasten hereunto, more than I?
The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, saith the LORD.

yathaa cin no abodhayaH satyashravasi vaayye sujaate ashvasuunRte
ya Rtena suuryam aarohayan divy aprathayan pRthiviim maataraM vi
vicakSaNaH prathayann aapRNann urv ajiijanat savitaa sumnam ukthya\m
aa tiSTha rathaM vRSaNaM vRSaa te sutaH somaH pariSiktaa madhuuni
yaabhiH sudaanuu aushijaaya vaNije diirghashravase madhu kosho akSarat
ubhe yat tvaa bhavato rodasii anu rejate shuSmaat pRthivii cid adrivaH
tan nas turiipam adha poSayitnu deva tvaSTar vi raraaNaH syasva
subrahmaaNaM devavantam bRhantam uruM gabhiiram pRthubudhnam indra
sunotana pacata brahmavaahase puruSTutaaya prataraM dadhaatana
وَكَيْفَ تَأْخُذُونَهُ وَقَدْ أَفْضَى بَعْضُكُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ وَأَخَذْنَ مِنْكُمْ مِيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ
