וַיַּ֤עַל שָׁם֙ דָּוִ֔ד וְגַ֖ם שְׁתֵּ֣י נָשָׁ֑יו אֲחִינֹ֙עַם֙ הַיִּזְרְעֵלִ֔ית וַאֲבִיגַ֕יִל אֵ֖שֶׁת נָבָ֥ל הַֽכַּרְמְלִֽי׃
וַיִּהְיוּ־ שָׁ֤ם עִם־ דָּוִיד֙ יָמִ֣ים שְׁלוֹשָׁ֔ה אֹכְלִ֖ים וְשׁוֹתִ֑ים כִּֽי־ הֵכִ֥ינוּ לָהֶ֖ם אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃
וְכָל־ הַשָּׂרִים֙ וְהַגִּבֹּרִ֔ים וְגַ֕ם כָּל־ בְּנֵ֖י הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ דָּוִ֑יד נָ֣תְנוּ יָ֔ד תַּ֖חַת שְׁלֹמֹ֥ה הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
וְהוּא־ בָא֙ וַיַּעֲמֹ֣ד אֶל־ אֲדֹנָ֔יו וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ אֱלִישָׁ֔ע מאן מֵאַ֖יִן גֵּחֲזִ֑י וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לֹֽא־ הָלַ֥ךְ עַבְדְּךָ֖ אָ֥נֶה וָאָֽנָה׃
וַיִּשָּׂ֨א בִלְעָ֜ם אֶת־ עֵינָ֗יו וַיַּרְא֙ אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל שֹׁכֵ֖ן לִשְׁבָטָ֑יו וַתְּהִ֥י עָלָ֖יו ר֥וּחַ אֱלֹהִֽים׃
פְּצֵ֥נִי וְהַצִּילֵנִי֮ מִיַּ֢ד בְּֽנֵי־ נֵ֫כָ֥ר אֲשֶׁ֣ר פִּ֭יהֶם דִּבֶּר־ שָׁ֑וְא וִֽ֝ימִינָ֗ם יְמִ֣ין שָֽׁקֶר׃
לֹֽא־ הֵבֵ֤יאתָ לִּי֙ שֵׂ֣ה עֹלֹתֶ֔יךָ וּזְבָחֶ֖יךָ לֹ֣א כִבַּדְתָּ֑נִי לֹ֤א הֶעֱבַדְתִּ֙יךָ֙ בְּמִנְחָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א הוֹגַעְתִּ֖יךָ בִּלְבוֹנָֽה׃
וַיָּבֹ֖א וַיֹּ֣אכַל וַיֵּ֑שְׁתְּ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר פִּקְדוּ־ נָ֞א אֶת־ הָאֲרוּרָ֤ה הַזֹּאת֙ וְקִבְר֔וּהָ כִּ֥י בַת־ מֶ֖לֶךְ הִֽיא׃
אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁמַ֗רְתָּ לְעַבְדְּךָ֙ דָּוִ֣ד אָבִ֔י אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־ דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ ל֑וֹ וַתְּדַבֵּ֥ר בְּפִ֛יךָ וּבְיָדְךָ֥ מִלֵּ֖אתָ כַּיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֤ם אֶת־ חֻקֹּתַי֙ וְאֶת־ מִשְׁפָּטַ֔י אֲשֶׁ֨ר יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה אֹתָ֛ם הָאָדָ֖ם וָחַ֣י בָּהֶ֑ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָֽה׃
As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.
The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,
And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
And when David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the host of the mighty men.
And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.
kaviH kavitvaa divi ruupam aasajad aprabhuutii varuNo nir apaH sRjat
kRtaM na shvaghnii vi cinoti devane saMvargaM yan maghavaa suuryaM jayat
yo vaayunaa jayati gomatiiSu pra dhRSNuyaa nayati vasyo acha
yatraa vo didyud radati krivirdatii riNaati pashvaH sudhiteva barhaNaa
agne tRtiiye savane hi kaaniSaH puroLaashaM sahasaH suunav aahutam
mitro no atra varuNash ca puuSaaryo vashasya paryetaasti
proror mitraavaruNaa pRthivyaaH pra diva RSvaad bRhataH sudaanuu
iha priyam prajayaa te sam Rdhyataam asmin gRhe gaarhapatyaaya jaagRhi
mahaH samudraM varuNas tiro dadhe dhiiraa ic chekur dharuNeSv aarabham
pRkSasya vRSNo aruSasya nuu sahaH pra nu vocaM vidathaa jaatavedasaH
pra yo nRbhir amRto martyebhir marmRjaano .avibhir gobhir adbhiH
naanyaa yuvat pramatir asti mahyaM sa vaaM dhiyaM vaajayantiim atakSam
sa iiM rebho na prati vasta usraaH shociSaa raarapiiti mitramahaaH
bhuurikarmaNe vRSabhaaya vRSNe satyashuSmaaya sunavaama somam
sRjad astaa dhRSataa didyum asmai svaayaaM devo duhitari tviSiM dhaat
yena shuSNam maayinam aayaso made dudhra aabhuuSu raamayan ni daamani
kuha yaantaa suSTutiM kaavyasya divo napaataa vRSaNaa shayutraa
yathaa no miiDhvaan stavate sakhaa tava bRhaspate siiSadhaH sota no matim
saM yaM stubho .avanayo na yanti samudraM na sravato rodhacakraaH
aa kRSNa iiM juhuraaNo jigharti tvaco budhne rajaso asya yonau
citraM ha yad vaam bhojanaM nv asti ny atraye mahiSvantaM yuyotam
Ἑβραῖοί εἰσιν; κἀγώ. Ἰσραηλῖταί εἰσιν; κἀγώ. σπέρμα Ἀβραάμ εἰσιν; κἀγώ.
Τοὺς νεωτέρους ὡσαύτως παρακάλει σωφρονεῖν·
ἃ δὲ γράφω ὑμῖν, ἰδοὺ ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ ὅτι οὐ ψεύδομαι.
وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَيُونُسَ وَلُوطًا وَكُلًّا فَضَّلْنَا عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
قُلْ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
