וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ אֶת־ אַבְנֵ֖ר בְּחֶבְר֑וֹן וַיִשָּׂ֧א הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֶת־ קוֹל֗וֹ וַיֵּבְךְּ֙ אֶל־ קֶ֣בֶר אַבְנֵ֔ר וַיִּבְכּ֖וּ כָּל־ הָעָֽם׃

וַיִּ֙בֶן֙ אֶת־ הֶחָצֵ֣ר הַפְּנִימִ֔ית שְׁלֹשָׁ֖ה טוּרֵ֣י גָזִ֑ית וְט֖וּר כְּרֻתֹ֥ת אֲרָזִֽים׃
וַיֵּצֵ֥א יִצְחָ֛ק לָשׂ֥וּחַ בַּשָּׂדֶ֖ה לִפְנ֣וֹת עָ֑רֶב וַיִּשָּׂ֤א עֵינָיו֙ וַיַּ֔רְא וְהִנֵּ֥ה גְמַלִּ֖ים בָּאִֽים׃
וַיֵּצְאוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י עַמּ֔וֹן וַיַּֽעַרְכ֥וּ מִלְחָמָ֖ה פֶּ֣תַח הָעִ֑יר וְהַמְּלָכִ֣ים אֲשֶׁר־ בָּ֔אוּ לְבַדָּ֖ם בַּשָּׂדֶֽה׃
בֶּן־ שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים וּשְׁתַּ֛יִם שָׁנָ֖ה הָיָ֣ה בְמָלְכ֑וֹ וּשְׁמֹנֶ֣ה שנה שָׁנִ֔ים מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃
וְר֥וּחַ נְשָׂאַ֖תְנִי וַתִּקָּחֵ֑נִי וָאֵלֵ֥ךְ מַר֙ בַּחֲמַ֣ת רוּחִ֔י וְיַד־ יְהוָ֥ה עָלַ֖י חָזָֽקָה׃
וְלָקַחְתָּ֣ אֶת־ הַמַּרְצֵ֗עַ וְנָתַתָּ֤ה בְאָזְנוֹ֙ וּבַדֶּ֔לֶת וְהָיָ֥ה לְךָ֖ עֶ֣בֶד עוֹלָ֑ם וְאַ֥ף לַאֲמָתְךָ֖ תַּעֲשֶׂה־ כֵּֽן׃
מִ֣י לֹ֤א יִֽרָאֲךָ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם כִּ֥י לְךָ֖ יָאָ֑תָה כִּ֣י בְכָל־ חַכְמֵ֧י הַגּוֹיִ֛ם וּבְכָל־ מַלְכוּתָ֖ם מֵאֵ֥ין כָּמֽוֹךָ׃
הַשְׁמִ֘יעֵ֤נִי בַבֹּ֨קֶר ׀ חַסְדֶּךָ֮ כִּֽי־ בְךָ֢ בָ֫טָ֥חְתִּי הוֹדִיעֵ֗נִי דֶּֽרֶךְ־ ז֥וּ אֵלֵ֑ךְ כִּֽי־ אֵ֝לֶיךָ נָשָׂ֥אתִי נַפְשִֽׁי׃
וְגַם־ ה֤וּא חָכָם֙ וַיָּ֣בֵא רָ֔ע וְאֶת־ דְּבָרָ֖יו לֹ֣א הֵסִ֑יר וְקָם֙ עַל־ בֵּ֣ית מְרֵעִ֔ים וְעַל־ עֶזְרַ֖ת פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃
לְהַֽעֲבִ֥יר הַמַּמְלָכָ֖ה מִבֵּ֣ית שָׁא֑וּל וּלְהָקִ֞ים אֶת־ כִּסֵּ֣א דָוִ֗ד עַל־ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְעַל־ יְהוּדָ֔ה מִדָּ֖ן וְעַד־ בְּאֵ֥ר שָֽׁבַע׃
עַל־ כֵּ֥ן גָּדַ֖לְתָּ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה כִּֽי־ אֵֽין כָּמ֗וֹךָ וְאֵ֤ין אֱלֹהִים֙ זֽוּלָתֶ֔ךָ בְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ שָׁמַ֖עְנוּ בְּאָזְנֵֽינוּ׃
וְאִם֙ כָּל־ בְּהֵמָ֣ה טְמֵאָ֔ה אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹא־ יַקְרִ֧יבוּ מִמֶּ֛נָּה קָרְבָּ֖ן לַֽיהוָ֑ה וְהֽ͏ֶעֱמִ֥יד אֶת־ הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֥י הַכֹּהֵֽן׃
בַּיָּמִ֤ים הָהֵם֙ וּבָעֵ֣ת הַהִ֔יא אַצְמִ֥יחַ לְדָוִ֖ד צֶ֣מַח צְדָקָ֑ה וְעָשָׂ֛ה מִשְׁפָּ֥ט וּצְדָקָ֖ה בָּאָֽרֶץ׃
הַטֵּ֤ה אֵלַ֨י ׀ אָזְנְךָ֮ מְהֵרָ֢ה הַצִּ֫ילֵ֥נִי הֱיֵ֤ה לִ֨י ׀ לְֽצוּר־ מָ֭עוֹז לְבֵ֥ית מְצוּד֗וֹת לְהוֹשִׁיעֵֽנִי׃
וַיִּלְכֹּ֤ד יְהוּדָה֙ אֶת־ עַזָּ֣ה וְאֶת־ גְּבוּלָ֔הּ וְאֶֽת־ אַשְׁקְל֖וֹן וְאֶת־ גְּבוּלָ֑הּ וְאֶת־ עֶקְר֖וֹן וְאֶת־ גְּבוּלָֽהּ׃
