וְהַצָּפִ֥יר הַשָּׂעִ֖יר מֶ֣לֶךְ יָוָ֑ן וְהַקֶּ֤רֶן הַגְּדוֹלָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בֵּין־ עֵינָ֔יו ה֖וּא הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ הָרִאשֽׁוֹן׃
וַיִּ֨בֶן עֻזִּיָּ֤הוּ מִגְדָּלִים֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם עַל־ שַׁ֧עַר הַפִּנָּ֛ה וְעַל־ שַׁ֥עַר הַגַּ֖יְא וְעַל־ הַמִּקְצ֑וֹעַ וַֽיְחַזְּקֵֽם׃
זֶ֥ה הַדָּבָ֖ר אֲשֶׁ֣ר תַּעֲשׂ֑וּ הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֨ית מִכֶּ֜ם בָּאֵ֣י הַשַׁבָּ֗ת לַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ וְלַלְוִיִּ֔ם לְשֹֽׁעֲרֵ֖י הַסִּפִּֽים׃
יִשְׁלַ֤ח מִשָּׁמַ֨יִם ׀ וְֽיוֹשִׁיעֵ֗נִי חֵרֵ֣ף שֹׁאֲפִ֣י סֶ֑לָה יִשְׁלַ֥ח אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים חַסְדּ֥וֹ וַאֲמִתּֽוֹ׃
וַיֵּצֵא֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וְהִנֵּ֛ה שְׁנֵֽי־ אֲנָשִׁ֥ים עִבְרִ֖ים נִצִּ֑ים וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ לָֽרָשָׁ֔ע לָ֥מָּה תַכֶּ֖ה רֵעֶֽךָ׃
וְהִנֵּ֛ה נָפְל֥וּ אֲבוֹתֵ֖ינוּ בֶּחָ֑רֶב וּבָנֵ֨ינוּ וּבְנוֹתֵ֧ינוּ וְנָשֵׁ֛ינוּ בַּשְּׁבִ֖י עַל־ זֹֽאת׃
וְאֽ͏ַחֲרֵי־ כֵ֗ן קָרָא֙ אֶת־ כָּל־ דִּבְרֵ֣י הַתּוֹרָ֔ה הַבְּרָכָ֖ה וְהַקְּלָלָ֑ה כְּכָל־ הַכָּת֖וּב בְּסֵ֥פֶר הַתּוֹרָֽה׃
לֹ֣א כֵ֗ן לְכֽוּ־ נָ֤א הַגְּבָרִים֙ וְעִבְד֣וּ אֶת־ יְהוָ֔ה כִּ֥י אֹתָ֖הּ אַתֶּ֣ם מְבַקְשִׁ֑ים וַיְגָ֣רֶשׁ אֹתָ֔ם מֵאֵ֖ת פְּנֵ֥י פַרְעֹֽה׃
כִּ֤י נִבְעֲרוּ֙ הָֽרֹעִ֔ים וְאֶת־ יְהוָ֖ה לֹ֣א דָרָ֑שׁוּ עַל־ כֵּן֙ לֹ֣א הִשְׂכִּ֔ילוּ וְכָל־ מַרְעִיתָ֖ם נָפֽוֹצָה׃
וַתְּהִ֨י חַטַּ֧את הַנְּעָרִ֛ים גְּדוֹלָ֥ה מְאֹ֖ד אֶת־ פְּנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֤י נִֽאֲצוּ֙ הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים אֵ֖ת מִנְחַ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃
בִּשְׁנַ֣ת שְׁתַּ֔יִם לְיוֹאָ֥שׁ בֶּן־ יוֹאָחָ֖ז מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מָלַ֛ךְ אֲמַצְיָ֥הוּ בֶן־ יוֹאָ֖שׁ מֶ֥לֶךְ יְהוּדָֽה׃
וַיִּקְרָ֣א יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ אֶל־ שְׁנֵ֤ים הֶֽעָשָׂר֙ אִ֔ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵכִ֖ין מִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אִישׁ־ אֶחָ֥ד אִישׁ־ אֶחָ֖ד מִשָּֽׁבֶט׃
וְעָשָׂ֣ה לַפָּ֔ר כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשָׂה֙ לְפַ֣ר הַֽחַטָּ֔את כֵּ֖ן יַעֲשֶׂה־ לּ֑וֹ וְכִפֶּ֧ר עֲלֵהֶ֛ם הַכֹּהֵ֖ן וְנִסְלַ֥ח לָהֶֽם׃
בְּי֨וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֜ת בְּי֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֗ת יַֽעַרְכֶ֛נּוּ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה תָּמִ֑יד מֵאֵ֥ת בְּנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּרִ֥ית עוֹלָֽם׃
וּמַלְאַ֧ךְ יְהוָ֛ה אָמַ֥ר אֶל־ גָּ֖ד לֵאמֹ֣ר לְדָוִ֑יד כִּ֣י ׀ יַעֲלֶ֣ה דָוִ֗יד לְהָקִ֤ים מִזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ לַיהוָ֔ה בְּגֹ֖רֶן אָרְנָ֥ן הַיְבֻסִֽי׃
The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.
For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.
That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.
Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.
O god, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.
I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
And one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.
Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?
And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.

priyosriyasya vRSabhasya retino gRhaM gamemaashvinaa tad ushmasi
ashvaavati prathamo goSu gachati supraaviir indra martyas tavotibhiH
jyotiiMSi kRNvann avRkaaNi yajyave .ava sukratuH sartavaa apaH sRjat
pra tavyasiiM navyasiiM dhiitim agnaye vaaco matiM sahasaH suunave bhare
yuSmaakam mitraavaruNaa praNiitau pari shvabhreva duritaani vRjyaam
yaabhir dhenum asva\m pinvatho naraa taabhir uu Su uutibhir ashvinaa gatam
अथवा योगिनामेव कुले भवति धीमताम् । एतद्धि दुर्लभतरं लोके जन्म यदीदृशम्
ἀσπάζεται ὑμᾶς ἡ ἐν Βαβυλῶνι συνεκλεκτὴ καὶ Μᾶρκος ὁ υἱός μου.
καὶ διὰ τὸ πληθυνθῆναι τὴν ἀνομίαν ψυγήσεται ἡ ἀγάπη τῶν πολλῶν.
وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَلْبِسُونَ الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُونَ الْحَقَّ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
