כְּהָקִ֥יר בור בַּ֙יִר֙ מֵימֶ֔יהָ כֵּ֖ן הֵקֵ֣רָה רָעָתָ֑הּ חָמָ֣ס וָ֠שֹׁד יִשָּׁ֨מַע בָּ֧הּ עַל־ פָּנַ֛י תָּמִ֖יד חֳלִ֥י וּמַכָּֽה׃
וְנִגְלָ֥ה בְאָזְנָ֖י יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת אִם־ יְ֠כֻפַּר הֶעָוֺ֨ן הַזֶּ֤ה לָכֶם֙ עַד־ תְּמֻת֔וּן אָמַ֛ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִ֖ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃
וַתַּשְׁקֶ֧יןָ אֶת־ אֲבִיהֶ֛ן יַ֖יִן בַּלַּ֣יְלָה ה֑וּא וַתָּבֹ֤א הַבְּכִירָה֙ וַתִּשְׁכַּ֣ב אֶת־ אָבִ֔יהָ וְלֹֽא־ יָדַ֥ע בְּשִׁכְבָ֖הּ וּבְקוּׄמָֽהּ׃
הָל֞וֹךְ וְדִבַּרְתָּ֣ אֶל־ דָּוִ֗ד כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה שָׁלֹ֕שׁ אָנֹכִ֖י נוֹטֵ֣ל עָלֶ֑יךָ בְּחַר־ לְךָ֥ אַֽחַת־ מֵהֶ֖ם וְאֶֽעֱשֶׂה־ לָּֽךְ׃
וַיִּתֵּ֨ן מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־ כֶּ֧סֶף הַפְּדֻיִ֛ם לְאַהֲרֹ֥ן וּלְבָנָ֖יו עַל־ פִּ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃
וְלֹֽא־ תִסֹּ֤ב נַחֲלָה֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִמַּטֶּ֖ה אֶל־ מַטֶּ֑ה כִּ֣י אִ֗ישׁ בְּנַחֲלַת֙ מַטֵּ֣ה אֲבֹתָ֔יו יִדְבְּק֖וּ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָיָ֤ה דְבַר־ יְהוָה֙ אֵלָ֔יו בִּימֵ֛י יֹאשִׁיָּ֥הוּ בֶן־ אָמ֖וֹן מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה בִּשְׁלֹשׁ־ עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה שָׁנָ֖ה לְמָלְכֽוֹ׃
וַֽיְהִי֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא וְעֵלִ֖י שֹׁכֵ֣ב בִּמְקֹמ֑וֹ ועינו וְעֵינָיו֙ הֵחֵ֣לּוּ כֵה֔וֹת לֹ֥א יוּכַ֖ל לִרְאֽוֹת׃
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲמַצְיָה֙ אֶל־ עָמ֔וֹס חֹזֶ֕ה לֵ֥ךְ בְּרַח־ לְךָ֖ אֶל־ אֶ֣רֶץ יְהוּדָ֑ה וֶאֱכָל־ שָׁ֣ם לֶ֔חֶם וְשָׁ֖ם תִּנָּבֵֽא׃
אֶֽחֱזוּ־ לָ֙נוּ֙ שֽׁוּעָלִ֔ים שֽׁוּעָלִ֥ים קְטַנִּ֖ים מְחַבְּלִ֣ים כְּרָמִ֑ים וּכְרָמֵ֖ינוּ סְמָדַֽר׃
וַתִּתֵּ֤ן לָהֶם֙ אֶת־ הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את אֲשֶׁר־ נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתָּ לַאֲבוֹתָ֖ם לָתֵ֣ת לָהֶ֑ם אֶ֛רֶץ זָבַ֥ת חָלָ֖ב וּדְבָֽשׁ׃
כְּנֶ֙שֶׁר֙ יָעִ֣יר קִנּ֔וֹ עַל־ גּוֹזָלָ֖יו יְרַחֵ֑ף יִפְרֹ֤שׂ כְּנָפָיו֙ יִקָּחֵ֔הוּ יִשָּׂאֵ֖הוּ עַל־ אֶבְרָתֽוֹ׃
I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.
Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
And when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down into Attalia:
ud vaam pRkSaaso madhumanto asthur aa suuryo aruhac chukram arNaH
shuurasyeva prasitiH kSaatir agner durvartur bhiimo dayate vanaani
mahii vaam uutir ashvinaa mayobhuur uta sraamaM dhiSNyaa saM riNiithaH
asmabhyaM tat tvaaSTraM vishvaruupam arandhayaH saakhyasya tritaaya
अक्षराणामकारोऽस्मि द्वन्द्वः सामासिकस्य च । अहमेवाक्षयः कालो धाताऽहं विश्वतोमुखः
वीतरागभयक्रोधा मन्मया मामुपाश्रिताः । बहवो ज्ञानतपसा पूता मद्भावमागताः
فَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا وَاشْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ
ذَلِكَ وَمَنْ عَاقَبَ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبَ بِهِ ثُمَّ بُغِيَ عَلَيْهِ لَيَنْصُرَنَّهُ اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورٌ
