וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֗ה נְטֵ֤ה יָֽדְךָ֙ עַל־ הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וִ֥יהִי חֹ֖שֶׁךְ עַל־ אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְיָמֵ֖שׁ חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃
כִּֽי־ אַתָּ֣ה אָבִ֔ינוּ כִּ֤י אַבְרָהָם֙ לֹ֣א יְדָעָ֔נוּ וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֹ֣א יַכִּירָ֑נוּ אַתָּ֤ה יְהוָה֙ אָבִ֔ינוּ גֹּאֲלֵ֥נוּ מֵֽעוֹלָ֖ם שְׁמֶֽךָ׃
כִּ֠י הִנְנִ֨י מֵנִ֤יף אֶת־ יָדִי֙ עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם וְהָי֥וּ שָׁלָ֖ל לְעַבְדֵיהֶ֑ם וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּֽי־ יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁלָחָֽנִי׃
מוֹצָ֥א שְׂפָתֶ֖יךָ תִּשְׁמֹ֣ר וְעָשִׂ֑יתָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר נָדַ֜רְתָּ לַיהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ נְדָבָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ בְּפִֽיךָ׃
וְהָיָ֥ה פִֽי־ רֹאשׁ֖וֹ בְּתוֹכ֑וֹ שָׂפָ֡ה יִֽהְיֶה֩ לְפִ֨יו סָבִ֜יב מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֹרֵ֗ג כְּפִ֥י תַחְרָ֛א יִֽהְיֶה־ לּ֖וֹ לֹ֥א יִקָּרֵֽעַ׃
וַיַּרְאֵ֗נִי אֶת־ יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַגָּד֔וֹל עֹמֵ֕ד לִפְנֵ֖י מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֑ה וְהַשָּׂטָ֛ן עֹמֵ֥ד עַל־ יְמִינ֖וֹ לְשִׂטְנֽוֹ׃
וְנוֹדַ֤ע בַּגּוֹיִם֙ זַרְעָ֔ם וְצֶאֱצָאֵיהֶ֖ם בְּת֣וֹךְ הָעַמִּ֑ים כָּל־ רֹֽאֵיהֶם֙ יַכִּיר֔וּם כִּ֛י הֵ֥ם זֶ֖רַע בֵּרַ֥ךְ יְהוָֽה׃
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י הִנָּבֵ֖א עַל־ הָעֲצָמ֣וֹת הָאֵ֑לֶּה וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם הָעֲצָמוֹת֙ הַיְבֵשׁ֔וֹת שִׁמְע֖וּ דְּבַר־ יְהוָֽה׃
And he called it Shebah: therefore the name of the city is Beersheba unto this day.
Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:
So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:
The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.
Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city!
She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.
yuSmabhyaM kam marutaH sujaataas tuvidyumnaaso dhanayante adrim
sadhriiciiH sindhum ushatiir ivaayan sanaaj jaara aaritaH puurbhid aasaam
بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ
