לֹֽא־ תֵשֵׁ֣ב לָנֶ֔צַח וְלֹ֥א תִשְׁכֹּ֖ן עַד־ דּ֣וֹר וָד֑וֹר וְלֹֽא־ יַהֵ֥ל שָׁם֙ עֲרָבִ֔י וְרֹעִ֖ים לֹא־ יַרְבִּ֥צוּ שָֽׁם׃
וַיְהִי֙ פַּ֣חַד אֱלֹהִ֔ים עַ֖ל כָּל־ מַמְלְכ֣וֹת הָאֲרָצ֑וֹת בְּשָׁמְעָ֕ם כִּ֚י נִלְחַ֣ם יְהוָ֔ה עִ֖ם אוֹיְבֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
וַיִּקְח֗וּ אֵ֚ת אֲשֶׁ֣ר צִוָּ֣ה מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֶל־ פְּנֵ֖י אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וַֽיִּקְרְבוּ֙ כָּל־ הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה וַיַּֽעַמְד֖וּ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
נָחַ֣ר מַפֻּ֔חַ מאשתם מֵאֵ֖שׁ תַּ֣ם עֹפָ֑רֶת לַשָּׁוְא֙ צָרַ֣ף צָר֔וֹף וְרָעִ֖ים לֹ֥א נִתָּֽקוּ׃
וְלֹ֤א יִהְי֨וּ ׀ כַּאֲבוֹתָ֗ם דּוֹר֮ סוֹרֵ֢ר וּמֹ֫רֶ֥ה דּ֭וֹר לֹא־ הֵכִ֣ין לִבּ֑וֹ וְלֹא־ נֶאֶמְנָ֖ה אֶת־ אֵ֣ל רוּחֽוֹ׃
וּנְטַעְתִּ֖ים עַל־ אַדְמָתָ֑ם וְלֹ֨א יִנָּתְשׁ֜וּ ע֗וֹד מֵעַ֤ל אַדְמָתָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָתַ֣תִּי לָהֶ֔ם אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃
וַיָּבֹ֨א דָוִ֤ד וַֽאֲנָשָׁיו֙ אֶל־ הָעִ֔יר וְהִנֵּ֥ה שְׂרוּפָ֖ה בָּאֵ֑שׁ וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֛ם וּבְנֵיהֶ֥ם וּבְנֹתֵיהֶ֖ם נִשְׁבּֽוּ׃
הֲלוֹא־ זֶ֣ה דָוִ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֧ר יַעֲנוּ־ ל֛וֹ בַּמְּחֹל֖וֹת לֵאמֹ֑ר הִכָּ֤ה שָׁאוּל֙ בַּֽאֲלָפָ֔יו וְדָוִ֖ד ברבבתו בְּרִבְבֹתָֽיו׃
אָהֳלִ֣י שֻׁדָּ֔ד וְכָל־ מֵיתָרַ֖י נִתָּ֑קוּ בָּנַ֤י יְצָאֻ֙נִי֙ וְאֵינָ֔ם אֵין־ נֹטֶ֥ה עוֹד֙ אָהֳלִ֔י וּמֵקִ֖ים יְרִיעוֹתָֽי׃
וְעַל־ הַבָּקָר֙ הָרֹעִ֣ים בַּשָּׁר֔וֹן שטרי שִׁרְטַ֖י הַשָּׁרוֹנִ֑י וְעַל־ הַבָּקָר֙ בָּֽעֲמָקִ֔ים שָׁפָ֖ט בֶּן־ עַדְלָֽי׃
אֵת֩ כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֲלֵיכֶ֖ם בְּיַד־ מֹשֶׁ֑ה מִן־ הַיּ֞וֹם אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה וָהָ֖לְאָה לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶֽם׃
וְאַחֲרֶ֣יהָ לָקַ֔ח אֶֽת־ מַעֲכָ֖ה בַּת־ אַבְשָׁל֑וֹם וַתֵּ֣לֶד ל֗וֹ אֶת־ אֲבִיָּה֙ וְאֶת־ עַתַּ֔י וְאֶת־ זִיזָ֖א וְאֶת־ שְׁלֹמִֽית׃
וַיַּעֲנ֨וּ בְנֵֽי־ יַעֲקֹ֜ב אֶת־ שְׁכֶ֨ם וְאֶת־ חֲמ֥וֹר אָבִ֛יו בְּמִרְמָ֖ה וַיְדַבֵּ֑רוּ אֲשֶׁ֣ר טִמֵּ֔א אֵ֖ת דִּינָ֥ה אֲחֹתָֽם׃
וְהִגַּ֣דְתִּי ל֔וֹ כִּֽי־ שֹׁפֵ֥ט אֲנִ֛י אֶת־ בֵּית֖וֹ עַד־ עוֹלָ֑ם בַּעֲוֺ֣ן אֲשֶׁר־ יָדַ֗ע כִּֽי־ מְקַֽלְלִ֤ים לָהֶם֙ בָּנָ֔יו וְלֹ֥א כִהָ֖ה בָּֽם׃
בְּי֤וֹם נִטְעֵךְ֙ תְּשַׂגְשֵׂ֔גִי וּבַבֹּ֖קֶר זַרְעֵ֣ךְ תַּפְרִ֑יחִי נֵ֥ד קָצִ֛יר בְּי֥וֹם נַחֲלָ֖ה וּכְאֵ֥ב אָנֽוּשׁ׃
הֵ֣ן אֶֽעֱצֹ֤ר הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וְלֹֽא־ יִהְיֶ֣ה מָטָ֔ר וְהֵן־ אֲצַוֶּ֥ה עַל־ חָגָ֖ב לֶאֱכ֣וֹל הָאָ֑רֶץ וְאִם־ אֲשַׁלַּ֥ח דֶּ֖בֶר בְּעַמִּֽי׃
וְלָכֶ֣ם הֲנִשְׁמַ֗ע לַעֲשֹׂת֙ אֵ֣ת כָּל־ הָרָעָ֤ה הַגְּדוֹלָה֙ הזֹּ֔את לִמְעֹ֖ל בֵּֽאלֹהֵ֑ינוּ לְהֹשִׁ֖יב נָשִׁ֥ים נָכְרִיּֽוֹת׃
קַח־ נָ֤א אֶת־ בִּרְכָתִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֻבָ֣את לָ֔ךְ כִּֽי־ חַנַּ֥נִי אֱלֹהִ֖ים וְכִ֣י יֶשׁ־ לִי־ כֹ֑ל וַיִּפְצַר־ בּ֖וֹ וַיִּקָּֽח׃
בּוֹרֵ֖א נוב נִ֣יב שְׂפָתָ֑יִם שָׁל֨וֹם ׀ שָׁל֜וֹם לָרָח֧וֹק וְלַקָּר֛וֹב אָמַ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה וּרְפָאתִֽיו׃
By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
And he said, I seek my brethren: tell me, I pray thee, where they feed their flocks.
And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.
Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?
Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

sa vraadhato nahuSo daMsujuutaH shardhastaro naraaM guurtashravaaH
svadaami gharmam prati yanty uutaya aa vaam uurjaanii ratham ashvinaaruhat
وَالَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُوا هُمْ يَغْفِرُونَ
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَلَا تُبْطِلُوا أَعْمَالَكُمْ
